Very nice house, kids activities on the resort, have to pay to use pools, 12 dollars per person, alot of activities and food half hour away.

We spent 4th of July week at this home with family. We had a range of people from grandparents to 5 year olds and this house had something for everyone. Kids hung out upstairs in fun loft game room and adults stayed on first floor. Our teenage son had privacy in the spacious downstairs when he wanted to get away. The home is located on resort property and we were able to explore water park, adventure course, mini golf, tennis and mountain biking. Truly something for everyone!!! We didn’t use the hot tub but did explore resort pools. There is a fee to access pools but was worth it for a hot summer. The house is ideal for pet owners. While we didn’t bring our pup because it was a bit too far for him to travel, this home is a dream for pet owners. Fully stocked with a crate, treats, fenced in yard, and lots of trails to explore. Clearly owned by pet-lovers. Owner was super responsive during our stay.

Very nice House !! We had 2 hiccups while staying here but we ended up enjoying the house. 1st hiccup was the refrigerator because it was not getting cold and we had just brought groceries ‼️ so he told us to pull it out and we did but could not put it back, my friend had to keep climbing over the counter to get to her room, which was annoying. We asked host to send someone like maintenance but he said there wasn’t one and this isn’t a hotel. After 4 hrs stuff still wasn’t cold or frozen so he offered to get a cooler but a cooler was not gonna work well for 200$ worth of food and drinks. He offered to send someone out and did but the app doesn’t allow phone calls I guess so we Missed the person who came because we were sleeping and they knocked 🥴😂 and could not return .Bummer . Long story short the fridge got cold the next morning and we made the best of the 4 days and had a good time, with the massage chair, hot tub and fire places cause baby it was cold ! I would definitely recommend but communication needs to be improved with the app, host and guest.

This property was perfect for our wintertime family getaway! It was very spacious and there are so many things to do in the surrounding area!

Not knowing anything about the area, we were so pleased that it was in the heart of the resort. This was a beautiful 3 story house with a game room that accommodated both the kids and the grown ups. It is also dog friendly. This was a wonderful vrbo and I would definitely recommend it to anyone that is looking for one in the Massanutten area.

We loved making Xmas memories in this beautiful home. We appreciated all the amenities, the dog crate and fenced in porch and yard, snacks, massage chair, game room and hot tub! We were so close to everything at the Massanutten resort. We are looking forward to returning when we can stay longer!

Wish we could have stayed longer! Our family of 8 visited the Shenandoah Valley area for the first time this weekend to tour JMU. We were amazed at everything this house had to offer - well stocked and well labeled kitchen, a hot tub, fire table, game loft, comfortable beds. But the favorite seat in the house was the massage chair! Whether downtown exploring Harrisonburg, or in the mountains near the Massanutten Resort, this area has absolutely stunning views, top notch restaurants and shops, and a great vibe! The host is very quick to respond and very accommodating! We can’t wait to return!

Our family of four enjoyed our stay, using the two upstairs bedrooms. The kids loved the bunk beds and the toys and games provided. We had a nice soak in the hot tub with a view of the woods and appreciated the well-stocked kitchen and open floor plan on the main floor for hanging out in the evenings. The location of the house was perfect for accessing the resort while still feeling secluded and quiet. Would definitely suggest it for a visit to Massanutten.

Small fenced yard, nice for dogs of all sizes. Kids loved the game room upstairs. Message chair and hot tube was a plus. Downstairs private master suite was very nice. Location was great, close to all resort activities. House sits on hillside, so stairs to and from parking area to get to front door. Owner was very prompt in answering any questions we had. Overall great stay.

We very much enjoyed our stay at Paws on the Porch in July, 2023. The house was in great condition and the owner went the extra mile to ensure that our stay was enjoyable (i.e. labels on cabinets, a few snacks, first aid kit, etc.). The house was very clean and comfortable for all 8 of us as well as my son’s dog. The 3 floors, with bedrooms and baths on each, worked great for our family. There was plenty of room to spread out and enjoy all that the house offered. The kitchen was very well stocked (pots, pans, dishes) and all cabinets were labeled which was a very considerate touch. We’ve rented many VRBO houses through the years and this one was, by far, the cleanest and most organized that we’ve encountered. The only downside (which is not related to the house) was that the nearby activities were pretty expensive and you had to schedule them at least one day in advance for a bit of a reduced rate. All in all, we thoroughly enjoyed Nate’s house and his hospitality.

We had such a great time at the resort amenities and exploring the area. This house was the perfect home base, with lots of space to lounge and gather together. Our canine guest loved it to - she got lots of wildlife watching on her walks. The provided dog crate was the same one she has at home so she settled right in.
The kitchen was very well appointed with everything we needed, and the snack station was much appreciated. The covered porch is also set up great for lounging, with a very comfortable sectional. The massage chair in the living room was used constantly after long days of activity.
If we come back in the winter, the two fireplaces, hot tub and outdoor gas fireplace in the table would get a lot of use! Highly recommend this property and it’s host - Nate was very responsive.

This place was amazing. NATE, is a great host. He was amazing with quick responses. For example, the code didnt work because wifi was disconnected, immediately, he sent us another to enter the premesis. Friday night, as we gathered around the outsoor fire pit, the propane tank went empty. So, I let him know, we had a propane tank the next afternoon. The home is verrrry dog friendly and the cost of bring your pet is the best I have ever experienced. The cleaners found one of credit cards, he reached out, and will be sending it to me. Lastly, the only reason why i didnt give a 5 star for cleaniness is that i am OCD when it comes to spider webs and dust over the place where I eat. So, high dusting is a must for me and plus we have our own cleaning service. Oh yeah, update the pots and pans. Maybe a griddle,
or somerhing for large families. Place is beautiful and you can tell that Nate has the right ppl taking care of this property. NATE, THANK YOU!!

Nathaniel has created one of the best dog-friendly places we have stayed. He provides a large cage, poop bags, leashes, toys, bones, couch covers, and other things. The yard is small, but completely fenced-in and there are some really great parks and trails close by.
With all of the attention to dog-friendliness, the house is still very clean. We really enjoyed the hot tub, and the porch with the table fire pit. Very good internet service, which made good streaming television.
Would definitely recommend for a stay in this area.

We loved the property and the area. The massage chair was awesome! The gated yard was so great for our dogs. It was a great place to spend quality time together and do fun things in the area.

What an amazing home. It was so beautiful and just as advertised. Plenty of space and places to hang out, chill, and enjoy the wilderness. Loved the deck and chairs, hammock, and hot tub. Master bedroom is amazing , too! Would go back in a second!

Our stay was absolutely amazing. The owner was extremely responsive and helpful when we had questions. The home had everything we needed for two families with children to be comfortable and have a great week. They have truly thought of everything when it comes to a relaxing environment!

We enjoyed staying at this house! It has everything you need! Our family was able to meet up from three different locations so we could spend a long weekend together. We enjoyed the gas fire places, hot tub, massage chair and game room! Also, there is a lot to do at this resort and venues close by.

This house was very cozy, and the most well appointed VRBO i have ever stayed in. The massage chair was a game changer especially after a difficult day of snow sports. We were so close to all of the skiing and tubing etc and Nate was incredibly responsive. I will definitely come back!

The property was very modern and included seperate areas for the kids to play. I enjoyed tge master suite with wood bruning fireplace. Most ofbthe concept was spacious and made for a very relaxed getaway.

This property is perfect!!! Beautiful updated home in a perfect location at Massanutten. The amenities include hot tub, game area and a deck that has a fire table and hammock. I will always want to stay here when visiting Massanutten.

We very much enjoyed our stay. The location of the home within the resort was perfect. The house was clean and as advertised. It was awesome to have a fenced in yard! I would 100% recommend this home and Nate was an exceptional host. I would also recommend visiting The Dayton Market. The massage chair was an added bonus (and yes, I will be ordering one for myself).
