It was a great stay. The staff was very friendly.

It was one of the most well maintained and clean hotels ive stayed in in India! From arrival, we were welcomed so kindly and our rooms were always kept clean by the staff at the highest standard. We travelled with around 12 of us from the UK and we all thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We would often spend time in the pool which was not too busy, order food and drinks and really enjoyed the breakfast buffet too. Especially the french toast and appam!

Clean room, bed, washroom. The space in the room was sufficient. Check in and check out was efficient, my request for a late checkout was accommodated.
Room Service was quite expensive, it could be moderated especially the breads. A Porotha can't cost 150. However the food was excellent. The phone in 225 keeps trying to connect and fails. Even keeping the handset on the base does not fix the issue. The phone does work, but you can hear a regular buzzing sound in the quietness of the night.

Staff is not trained properly. Very poor especially the In room dining. Never had a previous experience in any hotel where after an order is placed, the guy doesn’t even show up. Even after a phone call expressing this angst - no one shows up. Even instructions were not taken properly.
Staff is very polite - but mostly ineffective.

The oriental kitchen is very good. The staff is very impressive. The room size is very good. Even the break fast was very well served and was sumptuous,

What can I say? Hyatt truly lived up to its name and reputation. From the bell boys to waiters everyone was always so cheerful and pleasant. Stayed here for 9 days and it felt like a familiar place even though it was my first time booking this hotel. Would be a return customer for sure.
Because of the way the shower doors are built, the outside of the shower area tend to flood. One has to shower with the shower head tilted and use the spare towels to always keep wiping the floor. That was a tad disappointing

New... Spic & span . Excellent Renovation. The gym and pool are the highlights. Breakfast was elaborate and tasty. Selection of regional food was well planned out. Room is modern, clean & airy . Had a luxurious feel as well. Service was warm... staff efficient yet unobtrusive .
Overall a wonderful wedding anniversary for my wife and me .

Nothing much. Taj residency was way better and I thought that the quality was going to be same, but disappointed.
The suite room didn't contain soft sandels to wear. The iron stand is dated, the iron box was dripping water, the toilet flush was broken, the shower doesn't have enough water force. The TV is not smart and was not able to connect to YouTube, Netflix etc. The list goes on and on. I won't grade that hotel 5 star, maybe a 4 star will be sufficient.

Smart TV without service. They have disabled everything including Youtube in a premier hotel… The cheap management is still living in 80s. Such a shame.

Pool and bar are great places to hang out after exploring Trivandrum.
