This condo was exactly what we needed. It was spotless! Easy communicating with the owners. We would definitely stay here again.

We booked this property as it was close to the places we needed to be while in SC and it fit the bill perfectly!
Our only caveat is that it took a bit to figure out how to back our bass boat down so that it could be plugged in over night. (In town for a fishing tournament on Lake Hartwell) However, once we got it, my husband was able to easily maneuver it down and get it parked!
I could’ve sat on the patio the whole time as the view and surrounding scenery were so peaceful, it was enchanting.
Highly recommend this condo if you’re staying in the area. Oh, and everything was surprisingly close too!

Came down for camp at Anderson University, which is only a 20 min drive. The condo was just like the description. Back porch overlooking the lake was our favorite spot. Aubrey was always quick with and answer to our questions. If we come down to Anderson again, we will definitely stay here again. Thank you for letting us stay and being very accommodating.

“Our Happy Place” is exactly what is says, my family and I had an amazing stay at this diamond in the rough. We thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the back deck with the beautiful scenery, watching deer and butterflies nearby, and even had a momma hummingbird sit on her nest throughout our entire stay right on the deck. The decor is gorgeous, we felt right at home. The lake is just steps away on this secluded property. We’ll be back!

We are from South Carolina and lake hartwell is our favorite place to take our boat, and finding this place for a long relaxing holiday weekend was the best decision we made. The condo is beautiful and relaxing and the porch overlooking the lake was perfect. Launching the boat at saddlers creek was so easy and there was parking for the trailer in the complex. We couldn’t have had a nicer time and plan on making this a yearly tradition.

My family had a fantastic time! From the moment we stepped through the door, everything felt so peaceful and relaxing. It even smelled fresh and clean. We loved the proximity to the water and just how quiet the area was. I think I could have been completely happy sitting on the deck the entire week. There was even a little hummingbird nesting on the deck—so sweet! The host was incredibly quick to respond to any questions we had, and the whole process was easy and stress-free—exactly the way you want a vacation to be. We hope to visit again!

Our stay was perfect and the lake house was absolutely beautiful and quiet. Perfect location right at the end of a cove. We had a wonderful time and look forward to staying again.

My husband, Daughter and I stayed at "Our Happy Place" for a long weekend for a family celebration. We absolutely loved the condo. It was clean from top to bottom. We enjoyed the view and spending time on the porch. We will rent again in the future.

The property was exactly what was presented on the on-line listing. Unfortunately, during our short stay there was construction occurring on the second-floor condo. This just gave us the added push to get up and out early each day and explore the towns of Anderson and Hartwell.

We were in town for a couple of days house hunting and loved this condo at Hartwell Villas. The view from the windows or from the deck was beautiful and peaceful. The furnishings were comfortable.

My family and I really enjoyed our stay. The rental was very clean and comfortable which helped us relax after driving 3 and a half hours at night in the rain. This location was centered from about 3 different cities and shopping areas. We came for the Diamond Hill Gem Mining but enjoyed Sadlers Creek State Park and the scenery of the area. Well worth it

This lake condo is one of the best places we’ve stayed! The beds were heavenly, everything we needed was provided, and the house was spotless. The view and proximity to the lake were perfect. We loved being on the long back porch. The hosts have thought of everything. We will be back!!

The property was very nice and clean. Owners had everything in the home that you could think of. Cool thing is we we seen a Armadillo! Very quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed ourselves!

This was a clean and beautiful property. The house and beds were comfortable. Parking was right out front. The views of the lake were beautiful. The host left snacks as well as conveniences of dishwasher and washer pods. Bath towels were fluffy and well cared for. This was a resort-style home. I would definitely visit again.

We’re already planning our next adventure as “Our Happy Place” was perfect in every way! The lake view from the windows was pristine and so relaxing. The back porch was super inviting and the interior decor was spot on. The remodeling was perfect…the kitchen and bathrooms were gorgeous!! We utilized this location as our lodging for a parents weekend at Clemson. It’s a nice peaceful drive to get to the condo but yet close enough to go back and forth to Clemson. Property owners were super accessible and answered all of our questions prior to the stay and we didn’t need them at all once we got there - the book in the condo along with initial check in instructions was perfect!

Lovely home best view of the lake very clean and well laid out floor plan. Comfortable bed with nice furniture throughout and had everything we needed. Nice pool we spent 5 nights ate some of the best BBQ at Fork Grove right down the road. Perfect place to stay for a peaceful vacation thanks so much

My family needed a get-a-way but needed to still be close to home. This perfect lake location was amazing! The decor is beautiful, the view from the porch was perfection! If you need hotel-like accommodations with lake house views and access this is the place.

We enjoyed our stay at “Our Happy Place” very much. We were celebrating our anniversary and we absolutely love Lake Hartwell. Everything was clean, modern and quiet. We enjoyed the porch and views the most. The only thing of concern is the parking. We didn’t have a spot designated, so due to the other condos and their guests we ended up parking past the building near the grass. It was fine for the 2 of us because we didn’t have a lot of stuff or our children with us. However a longer stay with multiple trips to the car with kids I could find this a bit challenging. Otherwise it was a perfect little getaway. We plan to return sooner than later. Thank you sharing your cute place with us.

Thank you SO much for sharing your Happy Place with us, what a hidden gem! Everything was just perfect, from the location to the amenities and beyond. Beautifully remodeled inside, this condo left us lacking for nothing. Comfy beds, luxurious linens, great shower, all the kitchen supplies you could need, the list goes on. The large back porch gave us an incredible spot to relax and take in that amazing Lake Hartwell view - the outdoor fans, lighting and seating were one of the many little details that really set this place apart! We enjoyed floating around the lake in the quiet little cove just down from the condo and had the space all to ourselves. The condo is not far from town for groceries, etc. We also enjoyed dinner and drinks just a few minutes up the road at Big Water Marina. Super easy check in/out, too! Already planning our next visit, thanks again!

We spent the week sailing on Lake Hartwell. This condo was perfectly located for what we were doing. It’s beautiful inside, excellent view from the back deck. Everything worked, great beds.

The condo and community are too notch. Quite and not crowded easy to come and go thru the front gate. The condo was clean and very up to date. Appliances etc were impressive. Would love to come back in the future.

This is the best VRBO we have ever visited. So much attention to every detail. Adjustable beds, Keurig coffeemaker and coffee, snacks, great Wi-fi and TV streaming. Unbelievably beautiful location and condo was exceptionally clean and decor was perfect. We used the gas grill which worked great. Convenient boat ramp right next door, we could see our boat on the courtesy dock right from the condo. Had two deer visit early every morning while I had my coffee on the porch looking out at the lake. Already planning our return trip. Just perfect !!

We loved our stay! We appreciated
how clean and well-appointed this condo is, and enjoyed the lake views from most rooms. Our family enjoyed walking along the lake and the sitting out on the spacious porch. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare meals and the grill outside was a bonus! The beds are super comfortable. I feel this is a quiet, safe place to stay and just a 25 minute drive to Anderson University, which was the purpose for our visit. Sadlers Creek State Park is just next to the Villas.

Hands down, the best VRBO rental place and experience I have ever had in the last 20 years. The condo was roomy, clean, updated and the owners thoughtfulness of items for use in the condo was above and beyond. We will definitely recommend and will return soon!
