It was very good condo and site were AWESOME

First let me start with the positive: the location was fabulous! It was wonderful to be on the first floor and walk out to the large patio for morning coffee and to watch the moonrise and the occasional rocket launches. The kitchen was very well stocked…probably the most pots and pans of any place we’ve rented. And plenty of dishes and silverware. It’s the most beautiful beach and perfect for long walks. However, the place was in need of a good cleaning. The guest bedroom closet was so full of bedding, clothing, toys and a foam mattress pad that I couldn’t get the door open. I spent a day organizing the closet and washing the bedding that was on the floor. It appeared that no one had swept under the beds in a while, and we found an empty beer can in the primary bathroom cupboard. Some of the dishes in the cupboard were dirty. We did tell the owners who apologized and said they spoke to the cleaning staff so that it doesn’t happen again. Communication wasn’t great, especially at first. The day before we were to check in, I still had not heard anything about how to get in, so I emailed and was given the info. However, the code for the keypad wasn’t correct and we couldn’t get in, so I called and after trying another code which also didn’t work, we were given the code the cleaners use, which worked. However, the garage door opener and the key to the tennis court weren’t at the property so the owners brought them to us 5 days later. We’ll probably look elsewhere next time.
