Loved seeing the sheep but had no idea that they would be so vocal at night - city folk eh!

Ein Juwel! Super gelegen, ruhig und trotzdem nah an der Stadt, eigenes kleines Grundstück mit Parkmöglichkeit. Die Ausstattung ist perfekt und man findet wirklich alles was man braucht und noch mehr. Die Küche ist komplett ausgestattet und man findet sogar einen Milchaufschäumer für den morgendlichen Kaffee vor. Man hat schöne Sitzgelegenheiten im Garten, einen Grill und die Badewanne auf der Terrasse ist ein Sahnehäubchen und rundet dieses perfekte kleine Häuschen ab. Alles ist blitzsauber. Die Gastgeber sind super nette Leute und stehen sofort bei Fragen oder Anliegen zur Verfügung. Absolute Empfehlung!

Modern well equiped house with heatpump and good cooking facilities. Beautiful views on the river and ocean from the terrace, kitchen and bathroom. The bath outside is quite the cherry on te cake!
The communication I had was only online but timely and informative.
Adding some extra signage with directions to the location could help a bit. The large outside dining had on obstructed view of the valley, a small extra table near the outside seats would improve upon this.

De badkuip en het uitzicht. Jammer dat de rivier droog stond.
Geen tafel waar je op het terras aan kon eten. Omdat er geen parasol staat schroei je met warm weer weg op het terras. De waskom in de toiletruimte was veel te klein en stond zelfs voor mij te hoog. Tandenpoetsen en wassen was daardoor lastig.

It was a nice secluded location.
Although I really liked the disconnect from wifi and streaming services. Been nice if some board games or something were in the house. This would just a nice activity to have if you wanted a night in.

Wow wow wow. What a spot! Absolutely loved this beautiful spot that Lou and Dan have created. Could not fault anything. It had everything we needed and so handy being dog friendly. The hot tub was a lovely touch and being able to bbq dinner while enjoying those views. Communication with Lou and Dan was so easy. We will definitely be back next time we are in Kaikoura

These guys were great! Booked in abit late in the afternoon while they were out and about. They called and got us organised as soon as the got back in reception . Couldn't be more helpful😃 such a a cute place into the bargain😃

Without question THE place to stay in Kaikoura. The reviews are not wrong. It’s snowed and was cold outside but the house was warm and cozy. We took our year old spoodle and it was perfect location for a dog with good walks etc at the doorstep. The outdoor bath was fantastic, bed comfortable. Yes being a tiny home it can be tight with storage of bags, but it just works. Coffee machine nice bonus. I have stayed in few places around Kaikoura and this is the best yet.
Very little to not like. It’s a small functional space, well put together by the owners. The only comment to note is there is no gate to the road so little ones (including dogs) need to be managed. The road is very quiet though, used mainly by farm vehicles.

Absolutely a fabulous tiny home. View were amazing, home very well equipped with luxurious bedding. Very comfortable bed. Great outdoor bath with loads of hot water. Very friendly hosts.

This was one of my favorite stays I've ever been to loved the overall design of the accommodation it was perfect for a couple me and my partner definitely enjoyed our holiday, if you want somewhere very private and cozy with an exceptional view this is the place for you.

Stunning tiny house with everything you need for a comfortable stay. Every detail has been considered and executed with great taste. Loved the bed linen’s and the star gazing from the bath was luxurious.

We LOVED the location for what we were looking for. nice and isolated but still close enough to the town. the view from the porch is just incredible, we loved that we didn’t feel like we needed to go anywhere to bask in the beauty of Kaikōura! We loved how well equipped the kitchen etc was and really appreciated the attention to detail, even providing epsom salts for the outdoor bath (which was DEFINITELY a highlight of our whole trip)
that we didn’t stay longer… lol 😆

Amazing view. The outside bath was fantastic, on a clear night you can gaze at so many stars. The home itself is cosy, clean and nicely furnished. My partner and I will definitely be back, it’s our new favourite hidden gem!

Beautiful location overlooking the Hapuku river out to sea. The unit is warm and very cosy. Everything was very new and good quality, those little touches you appreciate when you stay somewhere from the kitchenware to the bath robes. I would happily have spent a few nights here, it seemed a shame to be leaving after one!

The tiny house has the most gorgeous view of any house in the area. It is secluded and immersed in nature, while also being a short drive from the little Kaikoura town. everything inside the house is brand new and selected with care. Truly loved this place.

We LOVED everything about this off-grid tiny house! Fantastic location with amazing views. (About a 15-20min drive from Kaikoura to the town ). Loved the interior, and the outdoor bath was just perfect with river and sea views. The hosts were great! - very friendly and helpful.
