This property was everything we expected and more! They have really thought of everything! Beautifully decorated, beds were so comfortable, and had everything you need. The golf cart was an added plus, it was nice to go out a cruise around the property and run for Pizza by the Sea and Ben n Jerry’s runs :) We have stayed at Beachside 2 multiple times but definitely found our new spot…planning our next trip already! Thanks for the memories!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Look no further! The owner thought of absolutely everything. Convenient to everything…..the pool, the beach, restaurants, tram to boardwalk. Oh, and the golf cart provided is a bonus. Thank you for making our first trip to Destin a memorable one. I’ll be sharing our VRBO experience with our Texas family and friends. Hook ‘em Horns!!!!!!

Beautiful condo in a wonderful resort! Our little girls enjoyed the kiddie pool and we loved being so close to the beach. The golf cart access was also so convenient. Would definitely vacation here again!

Second Wind looks out over a water feature and the hot tub. The unit is beautifully decorated and pristine. New top of the line appliances and electronics. Terrific communication with the host. .

Beautiful condo! We so appreciated how well the kitchen was stocked with spices, cooking spray…just some of the many details that made the stay so easy. The golf cart was a must - never had to get in our car. Sandestin is wonderful. I’m a picky renter and it was one of the best we’ve stayed at.

Great upscale condo in a great resort community! The kids had a blast taking the golf cart to Baytowne Village for the ropes course and other kid activities and restaurants! Great family vacation spot! Highly recommend.

We were fortunate enough to be able to stay a full month in this beautifully renovated condo on the beach. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The host included every possible amenity, including a fully equipped kitchen with every kind of pot, pan, spice, kitchen appliance, etc. And everything was clean, new and high-quality. The location could not be better. The Sandestin resort provides every kind of activity one could want. We highly recommend this property!

This unit is top notch! If I had to guess, I would say it’s the nicest unit in the entire building. It was spotless, which I so appreciate. We loved the use of the golf cart and beach equipment. Thank you for making our first visit to the area a great experience!

Walking in the door for the first time we were blown away! This condo is exactly as it’s described. High end furnishings and a top notch kitchen! Absolutely perfect for 2 couples. We loved the pool areas and the beach was beautiful, as always. The Sandestin community is great, delicious restaurants, shopping and having a golf cart is the only way to travel!!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about our stay here. The condo was perfect in every way. We vacation every year at Westwinds and this was by far the BEST unit we have ever stayed in. From beginning to end, Carla made the experience easy and pleasurable. We thoroughly enjoyed the excellent furnishings and comfort throughout the condo. The owners spared no expense with this unit and it shows in every detail. We will be staying again in this unit and cannot wait to return!

This place is beautiful and very clean!!! (Would love to know what you had in your diffuser)! Lots of extras that you didn’t have to go buy for the week, paper towels, toilet paper, laundry soap, etc. We didn’t cook much but had everything you would need if you wanted to. The beds we’re comfortable and bathrooms were nice! Golf cart was a plus!!! Enjoyed that! Lots of beach stuff to use for the week. Oh, and wine was a nice surprise! Carla was very good about answering my questions very quickly. We met some new friends and hope to come back next year! The only thing we had a problem with is remembering all the codes but we had them down by the end of the week. 😂 The resort is also beautiful and very well kept! Thanks for making our vacation a week we will never forget!

I give this condo 10++++. It was absolutely beautiful and extremely clean. The main bedroom king bed was very comfortable. We had no problems with falling asleep and staying asleep. The location of the condo is close to the outdoor hot tub, pool, and beach. The golf cart was in great condition and fun to drive. The owner thought of everything you could possibly need. I personally loved the bathrooms. They were large and the showers were magnificent. The Westwinds gives off a resort atmosphere. Loved our stay here and we will definitely want to stay in this condo again. Thank you Carla for everything!

The property is everything as advertised. Lovely condo; great location along the white sand beach. The condo is top notch quality, and the property community is friendly. Well appointed and furnished kitchen; everything close at hand. Golf and restaurants are nearby, and the beach is a full-service beach. We completely enjoyed our stay, hosting our son and daughter-in-law. We easily recommend this property and will return if the opportunity presents itself. Reserve and enjoy!

Everything about 'second wind' is really perfect. The condo is gorgeous with so many features and has everything you could possibly need. The location to the pool, beach, restaurants, and shopping was wonderful! The golf cart made our vacation even more special with the memories we made with our girls. The hosts are so organized and have a binder with clear instructions to access everything smoothly, and Carla was responsive if we needed her. It's hard to put into words how luxurious and dreamy this place truly is. Don't give it a second thought....book it, you will be so glad you did!

Don’t doubt yourself if you want to book Second Wind. It is better than advertised. I have never rented a place so clean and top notch in furnishings, appliances and details including the way it smelled!! While oceanfront the condo does sit back off the beach enclosed in palm trees and behind the pool and hot tub. Golf cart is fantastic and you may never want to leave the Sandestin confines because it’s huge. We played pickle ball and rented umbrellas for the beach which were economical for the whole week. It’s gets crowded on the beach so rent them early to get front row. Thanks Carla for this wonderful family trip!

We are in Sandestin several times a year, and have been for 25+ years. This place would be in the top 3 of all the places we've stayed. First, Carla, the property owner couldn't have been any quicker to respond to any questions, she couldn't have been more professional, and she couldn't have been more willing to make sure that our stay was perfect. And it was. Thank you Carla! As for the place, it was immaculate! Extremely clean, updated, comfortable beds, excellent layout, beautiful view, great location, and the bonus - A GOLF CART! We will definitely be staying here again!

I can’t say enough wonderful things about this property. The photographs and the description are nice but the unit is so much more beautiful in person and has everything you could possibly need! If you can’t be happy here, you can’t be happy anywhere! Property owner was so accessible and responsive if we needed her, which wasn’t much because all instructions are clearly spelled out for you. Book this property now—you will not regret it!

This was our first family trip and I could not have selected a better property. The condo was exactly as started- it was fully updated and beautiful. The location was absolutely prefect- easy to leave the resort and getting down to the beach and pool was quick. A dream for parents with small children. If you are considering this unit- just book it you will not regret it.

Everything was as described! Beautiful retreat, property was immaculate. Grounds were fantastic as were the pool and gulf beaches. Carla was wonderful in communicating, check in was a breeze. Property was fantastic. It was exactly as described, in fact even better. Clean, beautifully decorated, and all the amenities you'd ever need. The location to the beach, restaurants, and shopping was perfect. The golf cart made moving throughout the community so simple. Couldn't ask for more in a property or hosts.

We had the most amazing stay at this beautiful condo. Everything was perfect and immaculate!!! From the decor, to the cleanliness, to all the extra touches. We did not need anything. Carla, the host has thought of everything to make our stay here beyond excellent. We have been staying at the Sandestin Resort every Spring Break for the last 10 years, and this was our best stay yet. Easy 2 minute walk to the beautiful white sand beach. The golf cart was a plus. Westwinds and Carla’s condo are absolutely gorgeous. We will definitely be returning and renting this condo again in the near future.

My wife, kids and I stayed here and the unit was fabulous! Loved the extra touch of a wine bottle when you arrive. Owner very communicative to any questions. Would come back again!

The condo and complex were awesome. Everything was new and extremely clean. The entire building, pool, hot tub, beach, parking, golf cart and grills were perfect for our family. Communication with Karla was also great and she was always very responsive. Definitely recommend for other families.

This VRBO lives up to its name, “Second Wind.” It is precisely what my husband and I felt after a glorious stay in this immaculate condo. There were no stones left unturned in this piece of paradise. The stunning kitchen was well equipped with all high-end, state-of-the-art appliances and every convenience imaginable. The furnishings throughout provided a feeling of comfort and warmth. The luxurious and comfortable feeling carried into the bedrooms with the incredibly soft, high-quality bed linens, gorgeous decor and picture-perfect views from the windows. The bathrooms are beautiful, bright and modern spaces — supplied with lovely quality toiletries. The views from inside the home are stunning. My husband and I especially enjoyed the breathtaking views from the beautifully appointed balcony. Eating breakfast and having cocktails outside made this space hard to leave for any outings. Still, when we did, we thoroughly enjoyed the well-manicured property, sparkling pool, hot tub and absolutely gorgeous beach!!! Beach towels, chairs and a golf cart were all added bonuses! 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 for this luxury condo aren’t even enough for this gem! Without hesitation, I would highly recommend this superb vacation spot.

From the time you walk through the door, it feels luxurious. The first thing I noticed was the lovely scent of florals, which carried through the whole condo. The beautifully updated kitchen with the nicest appliances, marbled countertops, seasonings stocked, along with plenty of dish soap, etc to get you through your stay. There was a bottle of wine with a note that was so thoughtful and personal. The bedrooms were my favorite part. I loved the beautiful decor and large bed! It all flowed so well. The automatic shades were such a nice touch. Every part of this condo is something I could only dream about. We cannot wait to come back!
