Found the perfect home away from home, a couple blocks from the lake. It was hard to find a two bathroom house that wasn't a fortune. This place was perfect. We had room to spread out, but not too much room. Upstairs was a little warmer than downstairs, but as stated by others, that is not unusual. We brought fans and we were fine. Kitchen has the necessities, and I was on vacation, so I didn't really want to cook Not far from downtown, easy to get wherever you needed, and a very quiet neighborhood.

I stumbled on this gem of a property when trying to find a place to stay in Milwaukee to see my niece play at summerfest. Bayview Jewel caught my eye quickly as a superior option, especially considering it had 3 bedrooms and we'd be able to also stay with family. The house is in a quaint and quiet street and has both a first floor and 2nd floor front porches. The common spaces (kitchen, living, dining) were where we spent most of our time when we werent at the festival. Incredibly inviting and comfortable. The 3 bedrooms are tastefully decorated and also very comfortable. We loved our time at Bayside Jewel. Thank you to our host Patrick for such a wonderful place during our visit.

The home was pretty much what we needed for a short stay. Downsides were the upstairs was quite a bit warmer than the downstairs. Not sure owner can do anything about that, but it was noticeable. Upside was layout, general cleanliness, ease of access, neighborhood, and bathrooms. Just as an FYI - the bed firmness varies from room to room, so if you have a finicky sleeper, test them out first. This is neither a plus nor a minus in my mind - just worth knowing.

We stayed at Patrick’s property for my daughter’s 21st Birthday. The floor plan is perfect for a group of mixed ages. Our girls stayed upstairs where there were 2 large bedrooms and a common space with a full bathroom. The room with a queen bed, futon, and air mattress with balcony attached was perfect for our 4 ladies to have a slumber party like atmosphere. My husband and I were able to stay out of their way on the first floor with a bedroom and another full bathroom that was newly remodeled and had a terrific water pressure. Anyone with an EV vehicle is lucky to stay there because he has an Electric Charger in the garage and has truly made a great space that is both eclectic and modern at once. Just can’t say enough good things about the house, amenities and Patrick’s responsiveness. Would stay here any time I’m in the area. We walked to the lake and went to the third ward and downtown Milwaukee by car, only an 8 minute ride, so the location was spot on for recreation and relaxing.
