This is a duplex with a basement that is only half a block off 41st street. I was a bit nervous of noise and lights but pleasantly surprised there was very little noise and the curtains blocked out any lights so rooms were dark enough to sleep. There are 2 living areas and 4 bedrooms with comfy beds. My 3 friends and I were all beyond impressed with the property and will stay again!

Wonderful experience! Highly recommend this space. 2 bedrooms upstairs and 2 bedrooms in the basement. Living rooms with TVs also located upstairs and downstairs. Bathrooms fully stocked with towels and soaps. Kitchen fully stocked with utensils and plates/bowls/cups. We will be back! Thank you!!

Lots of room and great amenities.

pulling up we were skeptical, didn't know this was a duplex. However this was never an issue, never heard the other tenants. Surprisingly the place had more than enough room for us. Kids loved the basement area the most. We had never been to Sioux Falls and this location was close to shopping, aquatic center, and we could walk for breakfast next door or across the road.

My family and I stayed at the Garfield House in December 2023 while visiting family in Sioux Falls. We found the location to be very convenient for all of the things we wanted to do while in town. The beds were very comfortable and the house was clean and well equipped. We will definitely stay here again the next time we visit.

We really enjoyed our stay visiting with family. There was plenty of room to have them over to bake Christmas cookies and play games. The location was very close to everything!

The property is very nice and located easy to get around to do things. My mom who uses a walker stayed with me and she enjoyed it because once she got the walker into the house everything was extremely walker friendly for her. We used the kitchen almost every meal and it was nice to have the cabinets stocked with dishes. I brought my dog with and it was nice to have a fenced in back yard to let her go outside especially at night. We are already planning another stay in April and my mom has already said we will be staying in this property again when we come back. It was nice having 2 bedrooms and a living room upstairs and being able to go downstairs with two bedrooms and another living room located downstairs to get some personal space and relax. Stairways going downstairs are extremely narrow, but we didn't have any problems navigating them. Not having a bathroom downstairs was the only bad thing about the house but we made things work just fine.

Property is very well stocked with supplies you need. Beds were comfortable and house was very clean. Location was perfect for our visit and close to everything we needed. I did need to reach out to the property manager 1 time to confirm the wifi passcode so I recommend that sheet be updated. My only recommendation would be more light in the upstairs living room. We didn't use the basement for our stay so I cannot comment on it however it looked lovely.

James was very accomodative and responsive to our check-in process. Very clean and great for our group of 5. We will definitely stay at this or another of his properties in the future.

Townhouse was clean and inviting, and James was very accommodating with our request for early check in. We had to also request a later check out due to a medical issue and he was wonderful. Thank you for a great weekend stay!

We used this property to gather our children all under one roof when in town for a wedding - so much better than multiple hotel rooms! Very nicely finished duplex - impeccably clean - well stocked kitchen - super comfortable beds. Well done.

As advertised. Comfortable home for 7 adults and 3 children. Upon arrival, had a little hiccup with the front door code, but received an immediate call back to remedy the problem. Would definitely stay again.

The family met in Sioux Falls for state softball tournament. The place is in a perfect location close to everything we were all able to stay together. It was very clean.

The place is so clean and very updated. I would absolutely rebook there if I come back to SF. The only thing missing is a bathroom downstairs however we made it work pretty easily. The location was perfect. Convenient to everything and a very fair price. I would recommend this home. :-)

Great first time Vrbo experience!! Only negatives. - no bathroom in lower level for the 2 bedrooms down there & no mirrors in each bedroom especially for a “women” retreat!! Loved garage & off street parking. Will definitely recommend to others!! We were sorry we had to leave early because of impending weather!!

We had 4 adults in town and were looking for a place with separate bedrooms and real beds (no bunks or sleeper sofas). This location worked out great. New and very comfortable beds (all king or queen) and furniture, a very well-stocked kitchen, and a garage that was great to have the one day it snowed. Two comfortable living rooms with TV and sofas for hanging out together, one upstairs and one down, and the pictures are all accurate. The location was very convenient, close to restaurant and shopping options on 41st Street, and convenient to downtown, the airport, and convention center. Communication could have been a little better - I had to reach out the day of arrival for access code and later for the wifi instructions, but James responded promptly to texts and everything worked out great. One other note - all the descriptions are accurate, and the bedrooms were all very comfortable, but 2 of them are in the basement and the only 2 bathrooms are upstairs on the main floor. It wasn't a problem for us, but anyone who has trouble with stairs will want to be sure to claim an upstairs bedroom.

8 friends came into town for bowling and for those who may not stay late for bar use can walk back less then a block. Will for sure re book for when in town as compared to hotel pricing these days.

Great little home! Cozy rooms and everything was provided. Liked the garage since it was cold outside.
