Loved the home but loved the hospitality even more!! Had trouble with wifi connection and host immediately came to fix it. Host was also able to give good recommendations for things to do and where to go. Would rent again!!

Beautifully appointed with every gadget from pronged marshmallow holders for smores to a large pizza pan and everything in between. The Henkel knives are better than the ones I have at home! Plenty of towels, extra pillows wonderful sheets. The mattresses are new and very comfortable. What really impressed me was how immaculately clean the house was kept. We had 4 adults plus our two grandsons age13 and 15. The bunk beds at the top of the stairs were very big and there was plenty of room for them in that area. We didn't need our hot spot and had 3 lap tops and multiple cell phones working with no issues. When I told Mike we wanted to eat as a family (6) at one table he quickly supplied two large folding tables for the deck where we ate most meals. No houses are on the lake unless you rent one of the resort bungalows that looked pretty dated. Mikes property is up fairly high with other beautiful private homes on the mountain. The spa adds a nice bonus to the beautiful evening surrounded by the woods. We would love to come back for a future vacation. There's lots of interesting activities available within a half hour drives. Thanks Mike for a wonderful vacation locations.

The pictures do not do this place justice! It is tucked in a quiet mountainside on a country gravel road. The sunsets were beautiful and the entire property was so peaceful. Our family of 4 visited for a long weekend of boating and exploring Raystown for the first time. We were overly impressed and will certainly stay again. Mike was so easy to communicate with and always responded within minutes.

Beautiful and well appointed, with complete kitchen, linens and towels. The property is about a mile from the main road and gives you an amazing view above the trees of the surrounding mountains. Hot tub was fantastic, and two level deck provided plenty of outdoor space. Shy Beaver boat launch is very close so we were able to kayak easily. Communications with property owner were exceptional, even when we were lost and on a private road (use Google Maps, not Waze!!)

Beautiful house! Wonderful vacation! Exactly as the listing shows! The owner went above and beyond by making sure we had everything we needed to enjoy our vacation. Linens, towels, beach towels, paper products, soaps, etc, you name it, it’s already there. Mike was great with communication and was only a text away, he even checked in with us during our vacation to make sure we needed anything. My family enjoyed our time at this beautiful property. The house is on a mountain with great views and privacy. My kids only complaint was the WiFi wasn’t the strongest but that’s what happens when you are staying on a mountain! We will definitely stay here again! Thanks again Mike for making everything so great!

WOW......what a beautiful property. My wife and I took our adult children and grandkids to Raystown for the weekend. When we weren't enjoying the lake, we filled our time with special moments at this mountain side cabin. Great sunset view and fireplace on the lower deck lounging area. Hot tub on the side, and grilling and eating on the main level deck. We enjoyed the outdoor areas as much as the inside.
The accommodations were exactly what we needed. Mike and his wife have obviously put alot of hard work into their place. The open concept area on the first floor that looks outside is awesome. The decor was extremely, well done, very classy and tasteful.
What a great place to go and relax. Either after a full day on the water, or just getting away for a quiet weekend, this is the place to stay.
A big thanks to our host for helping make this weekend an easy and smooth check-in process and letting us enjoy their truly wonderful mountainside getaway.
