We had a great stay! The place is spacious, modern and clean!

This was exactly what I was looking for, fenced back yard with green grass and bark chips for our pups. House is very, very cute and well maintained. Nice residential area to walk and lots of restaurants in the Half Moon Bay area. We did have problems getting in using the keypad but was able to reach someone right away and after trying a few times, they sent someone over to get us in.
The only negative issue for me was phone service. I have Verizon (which could have been the problem) and could not make calls inside the house even with their WIFI, or using my data. Outside the calls kept dropping.

I love this property and will continue to rent it. The outdoor yard space is great as well, and the communication process is easy. This is my second stay here. My only complaint this time was that the floor had not been mopped prior to my arrival and was quite dirty. I think it was just overlooked, the rest of the property was very clean. Please consider getting some blinds for the back sliding door.

We loved our stay! Everything was above and beyond what we expected from the cozy blankets to the super comfy bed, heated bathroom floor, fully functional kitchen. All within a walk to Montara beach where my daughter had a beach volleyball tournament. Also nice backyard space if we had brought our dog which we didn’t this stay. Can’t wait to book again!

First of all, communication was fabulous, I had everything I needed to check in and check out, and the property managers were not intrusive at all. The place was incredibly clean and well-maintained. It had everything you could want and more. The location is two blocks from great hiking trails and it was so wonderful to bring my dogs, I will definitely rent this property again.

A perfect place for a weekend getaway with hubby and my Japanese Chins.
The only suggestion is to reduce the bottom gate space between the Verbo yard and the neighbors yard. My dogs are small and could have easily slipped underneath to neighbors yard. I had to place table benches on there side against gate to cover.space.

We had a great stay, the only reason we gave it 4 stars was because there was a "ring/ automatic light camera" in the backyard. There were no shades or covering for the doors that lead to the backyard. it felt like we were being watched thru the back doors.
Also, no blinds on windows,or no screen doors! Hard to open and let fresh air in without the bugs flying in the house.
However, house was very nice and clean. Quiet location and you can actually see the beach and hear the waves!

We really enjoyed staying at your cottage. It is so well stocked, very peaceful and in such a beautiful location. There are so many nice touches in the whole house and plenty of room for our small dog to run around.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay. This cottage is quiet and clean and has a great fenced yard. It also has a spacious kitchen with plenty of pots and pans. A perfect place for a getaway! We would gladly stay here again.

It was my first time in California and my husband and I had an amazing time in Montara. The house was clean and extremely well equipped. We cooked great meals on the BBQ, walked to the beach, enjoyed the local restaurants and had great day trips to Big Sur and San Francisco. This house is a gem and we will be back!

Beautiful little stand-alone house in Montara! We loved the beautiful neighborhood, with a community garden right next to the alpaca farm (loved the alpacas also!) Quick drive to Half Moon Bay for shopping and restaurants, 2-minute drive to Montara State Beach. 10-15 minutes from other beaches. The home was exactly as described, and the check-in and check-out processes were simple. I had no occasion to have to contact the host. My favorite place of all the places I've stayed in Montara so far!

This whole experience was amazing. My wife and two boys (16 & 12) had all the space we needed, along with our dog! We had family staying in half moon bay at the ritz Carlton, but this was an affordable alternative just a few minutes away! We used the full kitchen to cook a huge breakfast, and went on a hike on the trail just short walk down the road. We brought some sandwiches and had a picnic in a clearing on the trail with a stunning view. The backyard is a nice little oasis with string lights & beautiful green grass. And right out the front door is an Alpaca farm! You can walk right up to the fence and sit on the little bench and watch them graze, or watch them from the rocking chairs on the front porch. We will definitely be staying here again!

We LOVED our stay. The property is adorable, well maintained and well stocked. It is in a lovely and quiet location. Our favorite part was sitting in the front porch watching the alpacas and enjoying the ocean view. Communication was outstanding. There was a major storm while we were there and they made a point of letting us know there was a generator they would start for us. Beyond 5 stars!
