The outdoor patio is wonderful, we sat around the fire pit in the evenings enjoying the sunsets! We were in town with restaurants we can walk to! However you can't hear anything else, just wave! Beds are great, wonderful white fresh kitchen and living room! Everything was more then we hoped for! Alicia is a fantastic host! We had 5 seals on the rocks below the house one sunny day! The hummingbirds are all around the patio! It was a wonderful week!

I’ve been working hard and my husband was having a big birthday so we headed to the beach. Soothing sounds, even when it was storming. So relaxing. We had to-go food from Sam’s Chowder House. Great food and no cooking or cleaning. Wonderful memories!

We took my parents here for a long birthday weekend and just enjoyed relaxing and spending time together. The views are amazing and the house is literally just off the highway, but you’d never know it! We got to experience the full coastal weather with brilliant sunshine and then the fog rolling in and out. Loved it! Alicia was super accommodating and the house is very well equipped. I will second another person’s review that I would definitely rather stay here than the Ritz Carlton in HMB!

The moment you walk in, this house perched on the cliff gives off the warmest welcome and begs you to come inside and get comfortable. Our trip was a much needed girl's weekend. This beautiful home gave us everything we needed, a place to relax, laugh, breathe and rest.

My husband and I were amazed at the location and how beautiful and clean the house was! I honestly didn’t want to leave the house to sight see. I would stay there vs the Ritz Carlton. We will be back again

Everything about our stay was wonderful. The location is amazing, with 180 degree plus views of the water, cliffs and friendly sea lions. The interior of the house is lovely with high-end linens and kitchen amenities, and bedrooms with great ocean views. The outdoor space is larger than we expected, very sheltered and where we spent a lot of our time. The hosts were gracious and accommodated every question. We will be back!!

Spectacular views from every room. Plenty of space for our family of 6. Close location to San Francisco made visiting our family a breeze but we felt we had our own calming retreat away from everyone during our downtime. Best sleep of my life listening to the ocean. Fully equipped kitchen with everything we needed. Hope to come back next year!

We have stayed in many VRBO’s and this is one of our favorites. Alicia is very easy to work with and thinks of everything you’d need to have a nice stay. The location is incredible but it wouldn’t be the same without the thought to detail she put into the house. Definitely a place we will want to visit again!

This home is pure magic. The perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The outdoor space and views are unreal. We enjoyed whale watching and soaking in the fresh air. We look forward to staying again!

My mom, sister, and I spent five incredible days and nights at Alicia’s ocean-view house. We were overdue for some stress-free together time. We did nothing but relax, be completely awed by the views, walks on the beach, eating, drinking, and lots of laughing. We appreciated the laidback style of the place - exactly what a beach house should be! We loved watching the waves crash on the rocks, the huge container ships perched on the horizon, the squadrons of pelicans flying by, and the insanely beautiful sunsets. We brought a lot of food along, but thought we would go out at least one night to one of the many nearby restaurants; however, we became so comfortable and entranced by the house and views that we stayed in and had take-out from Sam’s Chowder House instead. We fell in love with Montara State Beach (a few minutes away by car or foot) and had a picnic there on our last full day. It was nice having access to the beach chairs at the house. We picked up sandwiches from Gherkins and spent the day watching the surfers. Thanks to Alicia for being such a wonderful host and responding promptly to our questions and special requests. It just doesn’t get better than Alicia’s house! Thanks again for the perfect get-away! And we hope to be back soon!

Just got home from alicia's place & it was incredible!!! My husband and I are young working professionals with stressful jobs (engineer & small business owner) . When we get burned out we like to do rentals by the beach and just "bum" out. We are so VERY glad we found this gem! Because honestly... thats exactly what we did lol. From the RH furniture, crate & barrel plates, amazing smelling bath products, all clad pans & great smelling candles..it literally made us feel like we were home. The view.. dont get me started.. its just jaw dropping. It just feels like the ocean engulfs you with its beauty since its LITERALLY right there! The host is so kind and very responsive. She even let our 2 pugs stay with us- which meant the world to me since theyre our babies lol. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. Didnt really have to do anything extra at all! But being the OCD person that I am - I still tried to clean to help out. We also brought covers for the couch since its white and I didnt want my pups ruining it. Alicia even provided pumpkin bread , welcome wine, and even fresh fruit. I didnt know what they had at the place so I over packed... just an FYI they literally have EVERYTHING you need to make your stay comfortable. Such a great deal. Worth every penny. Would honestly stay here again for sure. Thank you!!!

This was a dream we didn’t want to end. The views are amazing and the wildlife that can be encountered from your back window was so fun to watch. The house is equipped with everything and more. Alicia goes above and beyond to make sure you are spoiled and comfortable. It’s simply amazing!

We felt so lucky to spend time at Alicia's place-- it is truly as beautiful as the pictures suggest. The house feels set apart and surrounded by the ocean. The view alone would be enough to make this a great stay, but the house is also incredibly well-appointed, with great linens, comfortable beds, and a kitchen with everything you could need. (Alicia even provides hotel-style bathrobes.) The back yard is a beautiful place to gather with friends and the city is within striking distance. Would 100% stay again and highly recommend.

This place delivers inside and out! The views are incredible — 180-degree unobstructed ocean views, and even saw dolphins swimming in the morning and sea lions sunbathing in the afternoon…all from the kitchen and living room views. The interior is very well apportioned with comfortable furniture, a fully equipped kitchen, and bedrooms that are spacious, quiet, and comfortable. I wish I could bottle the sound of the waves at night — I haven’t slept so well in ages. The entire property feels private and secluded, which made everything even more special. The owner is very communicative and incredibly kind. From booking through checkout, the experience was first rate. I look forward to staying again!

Our family spent a week here and hated to leave. This home is definitely one of the most comfortable rental properties we have stayed in. The owners have really thought of everything to make you feel at home. The views from this house are unbelievable! We loved listening to the ocean, watching the sea lions sunbathe, and spotting starfish with the telescope. The location of this property is perfect too. We were actually traveling for the kids Spring Break, so the proximity to major tourist attractions was a plus. We would definitely book this property again!
