Amazing apartment in a fantastic location. This quaint and beautifully decorated apartment has everything you need. Fresh eggs, milk, and jam from the farm were truly delicious.

Beautiful old organic farmhouse very close (3-minute walk) to a picturesque village in a stunning area. The surrounding garden holds cows, chickens and fruit trees which products are sold from the house by the farmer's wife. The apartments are modern and very clean with the right amount of a regional touch. It was all very relaxing and we will definitely return.

We had one week with our two sons at Uridl and enjoyed every minute. Our hosts were very friendly and helpful and, despite our inadequate German, did everything to make our stay relaxing and interesting. The farm operation seems to be more like a small holding, with milk and soft cheese produced on site from the three cows. We bought fresh supplies daily when we discovered they were available. There are rabbits, ducks and free range chickens to keep children amused and plots growing strawberries and raspberries. The farm is close to the town centre and surrounded by houses, yet our impression was of a quiet, friendly place with easy access to cable cars up to the mountain meadows and lots of well planned walking routes. Bolzano is just one hour away by comfortable bus journey if you want to go and see the ice man in the museum of archaeology.

A lovely and well equipped apartment and great place to relax. We travelled with three kids (6,4 and 2) and they loved exploring the gardens, feeding the chickens and rabbits. An amazingly convinent location which felt like you were in the countyside yet only 5 mins walk into the centre of town. So much to explore and do with the family, the three main chairlifts were all within walking distance and we enjoyed the three day lift pass as children under 6 were free. Lovely hospitality from both owners talking to the children and letting them watch the milking of the cows.

This is the third time we have stayed with Claudia and her family in Vintlana. The farmhouse is perfect. The interior is beautifully crafted from wood and yet also very modern with all possible luxuries and conveniences. Claudia is very helpful and friendly despite our language barrier. The situation of the farmhouse is excellent being only a 5 min walk from the town and 10 mins from the swimming pool and cable cars. We had a wonderful week of weather this summer and so were able to walk or bike everyday. With the Gardena Active card there are plenty of organised cycling and walking trips at reduced rates or even for free. The tourist information has a leaflet on all this and will book for you the day before. Free entry into the swimming pool is also a great perk. We love ortesei and the Dolomites and also staying at the farmhouse. We look forward to returning in the winter for skiing .

This apartment is absolutely beautiful. It is in a unique and beautiful 400 year old farm house, renovated to the highest standards and reflects St. Ulrich’s woodworking tradition with handcrafted furniture, built-in desks, headboards (custom made- one in the form of the nearby mountain). Down to the embroidered linens, it is exquisite. Spacious bedrooms, ample storage. Quiet and private with solid wood doors and sliding glass door separating the living from the bedroom areas permitting activities in living/dining from disturbing sleepers. Ideally located – a short drive from the highway so it’s easily reached; a short walk to the pedestrian streets and Seceda chairlift (walk, bus or drive and drop or park) so it’s convenient. Nice sized yard so our kids enjoyed sledding right outside the door. St. Ulrich – the largest town of the valley offers a very pretty village with nice shops, restaurants, outdoor skating rink, and pool (apartment comes with pool access – very nice, immaculate). Highly recommend. We’re returning! We thank Claudia and Bruno for sharing their beautiful home.
