The location is convenient, about 7mins walk to the main train station and 3 mins walk to the lake.
Free luggage store, and free transport pass for Geneva provided.
The price of the room is comparatively low, good for a night with simple breakfast included (brought to your room)
Can be a bit noisy at night and need to keep the window open as there is no air conditioner but only a fan, the air circulation isnt very good.
The bathroom is really old but the water was warm.
Doesnt feel very clean, and the decoration of the whole room looks quite old

Localização excepcional. Perto do lago e da estação central. Funcionários super prestáveis e simpáticos. Agradecer a surpresa que fizeram no aniversário da minha mãe quando chegou ao quarto. Foi bonito!

It was well located. It was a bit shabby but the shower was good and we had control of the heat in the room.
It had a bit of a funny entrance. It was basic but fine.

La recepcionista es genial. Una muchacha que da un plus en su trabajo, ya que me consiguió un desayuno cuando sabía que yo me iría a las 6 AM y no alcanzaría a poder tomarlo. Me trajo una bandeja con muchas cositas ricas. Así que mi agradecimiento hacia ella. Hotel sencillo pero bonito
La entrada es a un edificio que si uno no sabe que es un hotel ni te enterarías que allí hay uno salvo por el cartel de afuera. Pero la entrada está medio escondida y eso me llamó la atención.

Serious concerns for immediate review and inspection: dirty bathroom with hair in the sink and stinks, heating does not work and was extremely cold overnight, spoiled milk in the very poor breakfast served only in the bedroom, very hard old destroyed mattress that I could not sleep, no sound proof at all as voices from other rooms were like being in the same room. Dangerous for health issues. I’ll complain formally requesting full refund.

Alles sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Badezimmer so winzig, dass man kaum Platz hatte um sich vor das Lavabo zu stellen. Frühstück wird ins Zimmer gebracht. Erster Morgen war okay. Zweiter Morgen fehlte Milch für den Kaffee, es hatte für 2 Personen nur 1 Messer, kein Salz für die Eier und nur eine winzige Konfitüre für beide.

The location is excellent, it’s close to the train station and the lake. They bring breakfast to your room, and the service was great.
It’s very small, and the building is very old. The bathroom sink smells, we had to keep the bathroom door closed. It says there is AC but it doesn’t, but fan was provided.

The hotel's location is good - close to the train station and city centre.
The staff are friendly and helpful, and bring you breakfast in bed.
You get free use of public transport in the city during your stay.
Our room had a mini-fridge, which was useful for keeping food and drinks fresh.
It was very hot when we stayed, and there was no air-conditioning. With the window open it was quite noisy due to the traffic and some renovations to the church opposite.
Some might find the hotel a bit basic.
Reception is not open 24 hours (although you can check in after hours if you let them know in advance).

The staff were helpful, especially Luca, who did the breakfast.
First night, an internal alarm was going between midnight and 3 am, and there was no way of contacting anyone as phone call was not answered and reception is closed overnight. We were two women travellers and we felt it was not safe to leave the room to investigate the noise, that kept us up most of the night. It was also loud outside as area is linked with the red light area.

Great location! 3 mins walk to the Geneva Lake. 5 mins walk to the train station. This makes our schedule a lot easier.
Soundproof is bad. You can hear the noise from the street or another room clearly.

Bed was not as comfortable, not the hotel’s fault but the shop entrance has a small shop and people were always smoking which you have to go through to get in and out of the hotel

The Hotel Tor was centrally located and close to all services.
The lack of Air Conditioning meant the winds had to be opened fresh are at night which was inconvenient due to street noise.

The location was 5 minutes walk from the station the lake and the good shops.This was good for us.
It is a basic hotel but fulfilled our needs.
The staff were very friendly and helpful.
The place was secure.
The continental breakfast was brought to our room on time and was very edible - bread/croissants/yoghurt/ fruit and sometimes a slice of cheese/ butter and confiture.Coffee and hot milk.
The bathroom was very small. We needed to sit sideways on the toilet. I am an English size 10 and the bath was just big enough. Anyone larger might have found it a squash!
