Beautiful traditional property with excellent staff. Max was incredible at dinner, a fantastic host! The dinner area outside was beautiful of an evening.

The only improvements I see are the sun loungers around the pool they need updating urgently as are broken and uncomfortable.

The owner was absolutely lovely, but some of the other receptionist were a little cold. The location can be difficult to get to, but I suppose that also adds to the spirit of the place because you feel like you’re in your own little world !

Breakfast and dinner were both good. The location is great, but it is necessary to have a car to be able to move around. The wellness center was ok, and it came at an additional cost (too expansive).

Staff was incredibly welcoming and the food in the restaurant was phenomenal for dinner. We loved coming back here each evening after a day out in the car. The place is beautiful and very calm!

Service was excellent. Facilities were great, and the food was delicious. The location makes this a wonderful retreat from busy lives at home. A fridge in the room and fresh bath towels every day were the little extras that made our time so comfortable.

This hotel is absolutely stunning. The location is remote, but that made it so peaceful, and the views of the hills from the pool are beautiful. We booked the breakfast and dinner package which I highly recommend. Breakfast was simple but delicious, and the three-course dinner never failed, every dish was incredible. order the lasagne, the wild boar papardelle, and the steak - (but not all on the same night!) for a real Tuscan feast. Our waiter, Max, was so knowledgeable about everything, and gave us a proper wine tasting experience with it. Our room was huge and beautiful, we unexpectedly had a small outdoor areas too which would have been perfect to relax in the evenings if it had been a little warmer. The staff were also very flexible about check-in time when our flight was delayed.

Our bed, although huge, was not particularly supportive and we didn’t get the best sleep.

The property was beautiful. The food at the restaurant was amazingly delicious. My husband and I sat next to a couple from Germany who now go there every year and stay for 2 weeks to explore the Toscana region. They found this property by accident as did we. We are very happy we did and intend to go back.

Quality of service was excellent. When there was no free table in restaurant for the dinner, we got private table in very nice lounge and glass of wine gratis. The dinner was great, especially Max provided really awesome service. He also amazed us with his Czech.

Maybe the range of food for breakfast could be more varied. As the hotel is on the hill, a view of the surroundings would be nice.

Beautiful hotel in the middle of the forest! Great staff. Excellent breakfast. DELICIOUS dinner (recommended by michelin guide), don't miss it! Large and nice room with Netflix TV. Bathroom was large and convenient as well. Parking is great.

It was a little difficult to take the luggage from the car to the room because of a climb and the ground was made of little rocks and the suitcase's wheels had trouble over them. As you would expect inside the forest, there were several different bugs in the room (little spider, a beetle...). SPA is extra charge.

Nothing as everything was great

My husband and I just stayed here for four nights an absolutely loved it. The property is gorgeous, located in a more remote area outside of Siena but still an easy drive to many small towns and wineries around Chianti. The owners and staff were all wonderful. I have many food allergies which they were very kind and accommodating for. We ate at the restaurant two nights and loved both of our meals. We also used their wellness and massage services which were great. Overall highly recommend for a relaxing few days in Tuscany.

The food food was the best I’ve eaten in Italy. top wines. and very authentic . I will return here again but will extend my visit for at least a week . We loved this Tuscan Villa in the mountains.
