I had a disappointing experience during my recent stay. I was charged for a no-show for one night, despite having checked in. The front desk staff printed a receipt with the charge but did not provide any explanation regarding it. I didn't check at that time, only to be found out about this charge later when I came back home. When I called to address the issue and requested the charge be removed, I was promised a confirmation that never arrived. As a result, I had to dispute the charge through my credit card company. This experience reflects poorly on their customer service, and I hope they can improve their communication and resolution processes in the future.

Impeccable cleanliness, fabulous view, huge gym, stunning pool, nice rooms. Exactly what you expect from Ritz brand. The valet guys were super friendly and helpful. Other staff seemed a little too reserved for my taste. Overall, perfect stay and I would not hesitate to stay there again.

One of the best experience we had in Portland. Very professional and nice staff. The pool is Out of this World beautiful with an amazing view and so clean. Their Fitness center has an incredible view as well at the 19th floor. We had a very diner/snack at their cafe, and the breakfast was delicious. Walking distance to the iconic Powel's city of book store (a must see). A little pricey but worth it!

The Ritz is an amazing hotel. I just rated the surroundings low because it’s not in the most beautiful part of town and near the homeless encampments, but I wouldn’t let that deter staying there. Like a lot of places it’s hard to find employees. Everything was lovely. It’s just that they didn’t have a cleaner on one of the days.

Great staff; especially the parking and valet. Breakfast was lovely and had a great view. Our only dissatisfaction was coming back to the hotel after being gone 12 hours and our room was not made up. The front desk immediately remedied that and even gave me a glass of wine while I waited for the room. Bed and bedding were sublime.

This property is brand new and definitely one of the best Ritz properties I’ve stayed at. The amenities were top notch. Service unsurpassed. Room quality was 5 star. It’s close to a lot of option in downtown Portland. The views from the top floors and the dining rooms were fantastic. Overall we had a fantastic time staying there and would always come back. recently had a very disappointing experience at this hotel. I had arranged accommodation for a high-profile guest and requested a slightly earlier check-in. Despite speaking with both the front desk and the manager, I was met with unfriendliness and unhelpfulness.
Requesting an early check-in by just an hour and 30 minutes should not be unreasonable, yet my guest was turned away upon arrival. This level of service is far below what I expected, and I am truly dissatisfied. In the future, I will seek a different hotel that understands and provides luxury service.

The entire stay was 10/10. The room was beautiful with a wonderful view. I rated 4/5 for cleanliness because the entry floors were not clean as well as the bathroom floor near the toilet, however, the staff made it right for me and was very nice about it. This hotel is stunning and you feel like royalty the moment you arrive, you pay for it, but at least the feeling is there.

Amazing looking property and understand it’s new but it’s a lot of kinks that need to be worked out. Too many mistakes and error to be attached to the Ritz Carlton brand. Hopefully they get it together soon.
