This was a stay for my birthday and when the listing says ‘near to shopping and groceries’ it’s true! We spent the day shopping at Alderwood then had a nice night staying in, and getting ready for the RenFair in Snohomish the next day.
I must say, the host has done a nice job of remodeling. AND the place is actually larger than it looks in pics. The only weird thing is the location of the light switches…but oh well!

Rental was just what I needed for my stay. Since it was located in a neighborhood, it was quiet at night. Highly recommend for a solo or a couple to stay here.

Other than the TV volume not working, I would stay here again but not without a rental car or e-bike as it is difficult to walk directly to restaurants or grocery stores due to cul de sacs and fenced in properties. Very nice cottage for up to 2 persons and very responsive hosts. Go Tartans!

Small, but functional place tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. Every thing had a place and purpose and for the most part it had everything we needed (could have used some wash clothes and kitchen towels). It was a good area for the activities we had planned. Check in/out was easy. Would recommend for a short stay.

The cottage is well designed to make the best use of the relatively small space. Everything we could have needed for our trip was provided, even though we didn't need it (Washer/Dryer, Oven). There are tons of outlets in the unit so you don't need to go searching for a place to plug in your devices.
The only shortcoming was the cleanliness when it came to less common surfaces (Shelves, ledges, floors, etc ) which were not as clean as I'd come to expect in rental units, and the towels provided had a damp odor unfortunately which was a little unpleasant.
All in all for the price of the stay and the accommodations provided I would suggest the cottage to others.

The bed was comfortable and it was quiet. Needs improvement on cleanliness. We were not ok with rat/mouse poison granules sitting out in view, especially having a child with us.

I spent 6 nights at the cottage. It was a very comfortable little home away from home. When a few small issues arose, the host was very responsive. I highly recommend this rental.

One of the best VRBO experiences. Attractive cottage, loved how all the furnishings were perfect for a traveler, counters where you need it, 2 bed end tables, 5 outlets on each side. Great hot water, and a washer dryer was perfect for us. Thank you!

Owners are friendly, responsive and accommodating! The unit is super clean and new! My husband and I grew up in Alderwood Manor just a few blocks away. We remember when much of the area was open fields, woods and considered country. We know Alderwood Manor well and are familiar with its easy access to Major Arterials. Alderwood Manor is an easy jump to Seattle, Edmonds Beach, Bellevue and Lake Washington.
