A wonderful family trip. The kids loved the egg shaped bed alcove for Easter. Arthur’s is finished to an incredibly high standard. The bespoke decor was superb throughout. Beds so comfortable and quality toiletries and the rooms were spotless. A fantastic location surrounded by heritage and quality dining options. The breakfast in Arthur’s was 5 star and staff were so lovely. We would definitely return in future. I’d recommend Arthur’s in a heartbeat!

Absolutely breathtaking town with an old church, fort, and castle. The town was simply gorgeous and we enjoyed walking around. The hotel room was luxurious and everything about this hotel would make me come back! Breakfast was delicious. Most shops and restaurants in town close very early-so plan ahead of you arrive after 8 because you will not find a restaurant open! We enjoyed our stay immensely!

I stayed recently all week for business and everything was fantastic . The breakfast is a real highlight, excellent food and awesome service.

Such a beautiful place. Immaculately finished and absolutely spotless. The most comfortable bed ever. Quiet and peaceful. A great nights sleep and very relaxing. A great selection at breakfast. Friendly waiting staff and excellent service. We would have preferred a little more privacy in the breakfast room as the tables were all very close together but this was probably due to them being very busy. A minor detail but it was difficult to have a private conversation. However did not impact out stay at all. Still throughly enjoyed. Excellent! Will definitely be back.

Communication from the managers is thorough and excellent. Superb “proper English” atmosphere. Delicious breakfast. Very clean. We stayed on a Tuesday night and it was very quiet. Parking is free overnight and in the evenings. Small room but everything had a place and was accessible. Bathroom was clean and updated.
