backyard is adjacent the main highway. too noisy to sit outside. inside was not clean. Had to go buy cleaning supplies and reclean. no screens on windows to let in air.

In general this place is very nice and well located to visit Grouse Mountain, Capilano suspension bridge and Standley park. Great neighborhood.

The 2 bedroom suite was big enough for us (3 adults). I did not realize there was another suite next to us and that the owners were going to be living upstairs. They never bother us but we could hear them walking around upstairs. The furniture in the living room did need to be moved so that 2 people on the couch could watch and see the TV. Vancouver is very warm most days and there was no AC in the suite. There were not screens in the windows so opening them up would invite fly’s and other bugs. It was really easy to get in touch with the hostess and she was very friendly. Garbage disposal was a bit of an issue as Vancouver only has pick up 2 times a Month. Having a garbage bin and a recycling bin outside our suite would have helped us a lot as we had a lot of recycling. The suite was very nice. I liked it and the location worked for us. Parking was an issue as the owners parked on the street and so did the people in the other suite and us. There was a large driveway that was not being used. There was very little dishes and items that a rental should have extra of. We only had 1 tea towel, 3 bath towels and 2 face clothes. The mattress’ were stained. There was no extra towels and the shower only had one door which caused water to splash out of the open space. One of the rules was “no shoes in the house” I don’t think that should be something to ask guests when we are paying for the suite. The TV could use a sound bar as it was hard to hear the TV. Overall I would stay again.
