It was the cleanest and most thoughtfully arranged property we have ever rented, and it set a new standard for us in terms of vacation rentals. - great view from the hill down to the park and remote surroundings - roomy apartment with lots of space - high quality binocular available to enjoy the surroundings - location is in the new district, all moderns buildings around

- we were not given the address and checkin instructions in advance, felt a bit lost for quite some time after calling 3 times with no response from the airport upon arrival (finally the host picked it up, but we lost some good nerves there :)) - apartment was not completely cleaned. There was garbage on the floor, unfinished milk/coffee cans in the kinchen, fridge was full of some outdated staff - kitchen appliances were dirty - shower was dirty - lots of owner clothes in the shelves - apartment was kind of smelly overall on arrival

No wifi

We had a fantastic stay here. It's a beautiful, spacious and clean apartment in a lovely location on the outskirts of Reykjavik. The balcony overlooks a lovely golf course and there are plenty amenities such as shopping and swimming pools very close by. The beds are very comfortable and pretty dark which makes for excellent sleeping conditions in the summer. Would definitely stay here again.

The place is about a 15 minute drive to the city center which was fine for us but something to be aware of.
