Nice place!

We had a wonderful stay. Good way to escape the world of technology. No TV or phones. There is WiFi so you can connect with the world but you don't have to. The whole Inn is charming. Bathroom is down the hall but it's your private bathroom. Furniture is old-style or antiques. Very quaint and beautiful. Spotlessly clean! I would recommend bringing cards or games which we usually travel with but failed to this time. We went to bed early and read but did look on the main floor for games. Bridge of Flowers, bowling alley, museums closeby, great places to eat. Breakfast at Baked, just minutes away. Truly wonderful food and friendly staff. Thank you for our great stay!

Property is charming and peaceful. Brings you back to Old New England. Walking distance to the glacier potholes and flower bridge in the village. Owner are super nice.

Quaint and charming stay in a Victorian Inn on a residential street. The common room, hot beverages, snacks, and beautiful furnishings made the stay memorable. Richard was accommodating when I made an error in my booking. Would definitely return!

My stay at the Blooming Inn was comfortable and peaceful. The location is very quiet. Being an old building, sound travels throughout the house, so other guests can be heard talking and walking, but all present at the time of my stay were respectful. It is a very charming old building, with some thoughtful updates where it matters. The electronic door locks at exterior and room doors is a nice touch for a contactless experience. There was a nice selection of teas and coffees available, and a collection of dishes and utensils on a table in the guest dining & refreshment area. The old radiator heat system was adequate, but a portable heater was provided for guest comfort. Despite the charm, the building shows its age, and there are areas where years of dust have become part of the decoration. Overall, I would recommend this for those not looking to be waited on . . . and not overly attached to the latest and greatest.

We loved our brief stay at Blooming Inn. Such a beautiful area and the premises were so charming and comfortable. There are stairs involved so be aware of that.

A two-day stay turned into four in two different rooms. Everything was immaculate, cozy, and the two times I needed to communicate with Richard he responded immediately and helped. I'd definitely recommend the Blooming Inn to others and stay again. NO comparison to a hotel - The Blooming Inn wins hands down.

Loved the charm of this property. Stayed in two different rooms over 4 nights and both were perfect. Beds are very comfortable and the area is absolutely beautiful. Staff is very friendly. Looking forward to returning in the spring.

The room was great, but the bathroom floor was all sticky. That's easily fixable with better cleaning and better cleaning supplies. I had to wash my slippers when I returned home before I'd use them in our house.

Open food in the refrigerator was supposed to be shared with the guests. Numerous items located on every horizontal surface required additional dusting and cleaning..

This property needs renovating and deep cleaning. Musty — don’t stay here if you have allergies. Nice location, friendly people. Pretty and interesting town.

The Blooming Inn was great. Very clean. Great old house. Loved the motion sensor lights when you walk in later at night. Also the charging cords for phones and tablets is a nice touch. Great toilet paper!!!

Good stay

This property has a lot of Victorian charm. Luckily it was not hot on the night we spent there because the room air conditioner, like all of them, was noisy. And the ceiling fan was squeaky. FYI, if you need to use the bathroom in the night you need to go across the hall and use a key to unlock the door.

Lovely old house and friendly host. We spent a rainy afternoon relaxing on our private balcony and then walked to the flower bridge when the weather cleared. Had a wonderful time and would definitely stay here again!

The owners of the Blooming Inn were very nice. The house is a lovely Victorian home in great condition. The "Rose Room" was a good size room and very clean with a comfortable mattress. A basic continental breakfast is provided in the morning. It was a wonderful experience and we would definitely stay there again.

The building is beautiful. You check yourself in and out with a code. Our room, the Marigold room was very nicely furnished. Comfortable bed. Our room felt nice and private on the back of the building. There were phone chargers available which was a great touch! The common areas of the inn were very beautiful decorated and the porch was lovely. The neighborhood was quiet and Shelburne Falls downtown was in walking distance. The water and coffee being available all the time was nice. The only thing I didn't like was that other guests were treating the common areas like they were their home. They left their personal things out and it was unclear what was an amenity of the hotel and what belonged to other guests. But other than that everything was very nice.

A quick overnight at Blooming Inn for us. It was perfect for what we needed. We walked to everything nearby, parking was easy, bed was comfortable, coffee/tea and quick breakfast grabs availability, and easy check in/out.

1st time using digital lock. Liked the ease and convenience. Easy walkable distances to everywhere we wanted to go. Air conditioning and free WiFi perfect.

This was my first stay at Blooming Inn but hopefully not the last. The owner allows for keyless entry and self checkin so it is important to check your email for instructions. This is a historic building and the decor is a step back in time. However, plenty of great internet access, A/C and attention is paid to what the guests may need. I travel for business and this is a great alternative to a hotel. Hoping to return! Thank you
