New hotel in a quiet location. Exceptionally clean rooms, including a sparkling bathroom in which everything worked. Never before in the history of Indian budget hotels has so much been owed by so many hapless foreign tourists to so few expert Indian plumbers. Nearby are numerous restaurants, cafes, dhabas and street food stalls. Easy to get to on bus 900K from Visakhapatnam, with just a short walk from the bus stop on the main road. The staff are welcoming and friendly.

No reflection on the hotel, but the nearby beach, which would otherwise have been idyllic, was strewn with washed up plastic rubbish. Only the busy Rushikonda Beach end of the bay seems to be kept litter-free.
