Nice.size rooms. Really needed a 2nd key. Could have used more towels in the bathrooms. Coffee Pods and accessories were a nice.touch Front desk were very nice. Would have liked beach towels for the.pool.

Perfect apartment for family of 4. D.C. is an exciting place to visit but exhausting. After a full day of sight seeing, took the Metro to quiet neighborhood, picked up dinner, swam, played billiards, watched a movie and slept comfortably and deeply.

We are a family of 5 and just spent 5 nights here as our base for a Washington DC vacation. This property was exactly what we needed. The place was clean, quiet, and in a great area. The area is mostly residential with many options within walking distance for food and fun. There are two metro stations within walking distance. We always felt safe. The area seems to be full of young professionals who are always out walking their dogs. Once we parked the minivan, we never felt the need to drive until we left. The host does a great job of communicating. The check in process was simple. We were “checked on” several times during our stay via message just to make sure everything was going great. We never had a problem. Everything about our stay was perfect. We simply couldn’t ask for more.

The location and amenities are wonderful. Easy to walk to many great restaurants. We enjoyed our stay. Would definitely stay again. Host is very responsive.

When we arrived the AC wasn't functioning. Owner's response wasn't helpful. TV didn't work for four of the 7 days we were there. No response from owner. Multiple small issues....

This is a very nice apartment in a neighborhood with plenty of shopping, restaurants and parks for walking. Just before arriving, the owner sent a message that the smoke alarms had been removed, and preparations were being made to replace. They were not replaced during my stay. Also, I ended up with bites all over my arms and legs, and requested that the apartment be inspected for bedbugs. To date, the owner has shown proof of a professional inspection to verify no infestation.

Great place in nice area.

We loved our stay at Ballston Retreat! The building is great with parking, key fob access and extremely convenient to the metro. The condo itself was great. It is on the end on one side and has the stairwell on the other. We had small children with us and were worried about noise but the condo was in the perfect location. If we come back to the DC area, we will definitely stay again.
