Staff was very kind and helpful. Also honest people as I forgot my Apple Watch in the room and they kept it for me. Breakfast is okay, pool was clean and big enough The overall experience was good :)

The concept of the lodge is great, with small little houses for the guests. However, some renovations are needed / furniture and mattresses need to be replaced. It also gave us the impression it is a bit “abandoned”. There is a significant difference between the pictures and the reality

the included breakfasts were delicious. the staff was extremely helpful. it’s about a 20 minute walk to Flaming beach. flamingo beach was our favorite beach in CR. gorgeous white sands and not too crowded. we enjoyed walking to the beach. we were hot by the time we arrived. there is a yummy coffee place just a few minutes walk away, as well as a cafe and bank. there is a market right next to the property.

The pool, grounds and personnel were lovely.

No soap, shampoo or any amenities were provided. Only a single sheet on the bed is included. No blanket of any kind. We have literally traveled the world and stayed in many places but that was a first for us.

Very comfy bed. Good shower. Really super nice people- very warm welcome upon arrival. Not a fancy place, just very comfortable and safe...

Maybe a cushion for lounge chairs- we would have hung out by the lovely pool and gardens more...

The accommodations are simple but excellent. The pool was fabulous and the yard was beautiful. The breakfast was exceptional.

Stay was way to short

Very fine hotel with a very kind host, they lived as a family in the same spot which was nice and we felt very welcome. The location was close to supermarked and a bit far from everything else so you might need a car. All in all a good stay and friendly host.

The lodge is only a Couple hundred meters from the beach and it has a nice pool and convenient parking

There were a big colony of flying ants in our room. The room lightning was not sufficient. During the evening you could not read in the room

The service was great, the rooms were clean and it was centrally located! Definitely would stay here again !
