A nice chill place. Quite cheap since it's in between Lisbon and quite expensive Cascais and yet, pretty close to train station which makes it easily accessible. It's about 5 min walk from the beach and to a big shopping mall.

There was a situation with a guest who was a bit mentally unstable, and the hostel staff did not handle it all that well. They are mostly volunteers and they were off duty that late at night, and yet, I think they made it worse than it could have been. The owner did give my roommates some refund for such an unpleasant night, which was nice of him. Just mind, that in the case of weird guests the volunteers and young staff would not be able to do much and you gotta call the owner (or the police) directly.

Loved the atmosphere and the people who work there! Will definitely come back for another stay and book surfing lessons

Loved the huge balcony but there was no seating, suggestion: put some chairs or a bench out there, also some lights by the beds would be a big plus.

Most of issue result of a lack of management, there is no will from owner to address problems or just try to offer a good stay - Owner use the place for personnal purpose and isn't invested in daily management, solving issue etc - multiple problems with guests, management don't handle guests with problem (over 8people have checked out and cancelled because of one problematic guest. the management did not handle nor refund) - doesn't feel safe neither for belongings and people - multiple personal belongings thrown away by personal or stolen

My friend and I had the best trip we ever had, for real. Everybody was so kind and welcoming to us. The manager Roger and Rubens are the best. People from everywhere are coming here and that’s amazing, you can learn a lot of things. Oh and there’s Chico, the cutest dog in the world.

Location is good, hostel too

Almost no travelers, felt like old men live there

I was worried that the location would be far, but the metro was close by and I could come to the center of Lisbon in 30 minutes. there is Unbelievably, you can get there in 5 minutes on foot. The interior facilities are also neat and convenient, and the staff help you use it comfortably, whether it's in the kitchen or anywhere. The staff are all kind and I want to commend them all. It is more comfortable and family-friendly than any other hostel. Everything has a quality that doesn't match this price. I highly recommend coming here rather than wasting a lot of money on poor lodging in a cramped central location.

There were two decorations of the Rising Sun Flag, a symbol of Japanese militarism during World War II. I know that people in many countries know this pattern only for its decorative meaning, so they have no ill intentions. However, I would like to tell you that it has a negative meaning to the people of countries that were invaded by Japan during World War II.

Very nice reception. Atmosphere was really good.
