The place was great. Loved the location and beach on site. The hot tub and heated pool were great. Only about ten minute drive to Duval St. However, I got no communication about how to check in. I messaged the host about how to check in and got no response. When we arrived luckily the office lady was really nice and helped me to get into the condo. She said she was not supposed to do that but was so nice to help us anyway. If it had not been for her we would have been stranded in the Keys with a 4 month old and 70 year old with no place to to stay.

My friends and I go on an scuba adventure every Veteran's Day weekend. This time we chose Key West and Toms Chicken Coop. We had an amazing time and the condo was outstanding. The view is awesome! The condo has lots of space and is super clean. We didn't use the pool area but it looked incredible. I would highly recommend this place.

My wife and I went for our honeymoon and the condo was everything we needed! Very clean and full of amenities.

Ducal was a 5 minute Uber ride and Smathers beach was a 7 minute walk. A small grocery store was a 10 minute walk. My only complaint was the building itself needs some updating. We had a phenomenal time exploring Key West. We loved waking up to the most beautiful views right from our bed. The condo had everything we could have needed.

Ocean views from your wrap around balcony, easy and short drive from airport. Fully stocked great working kitchen. Truly enjoyed our stay and highly reccommend Tom's place to other couples or families.

As soon as we checked in are room was stocked. The view is amazing, and the swimming pool was fantastic!the owner is super nice and did an amazing job taking care of us. We are definitely staying here for sure. I give this property a 6 star rating.

This place was truly wonderful. It is HUGE. We wished we could live there. It has everything you could want. The pool was great. The only thing that was a little hard for me is that its down a long hallway and I have bad knees. However, it was close to the pool. Go. You'll have a great time.

This was our first trip to the keys and the location was perfect. The condo was very clean and was fully furnished with beach towels, chairs, tennis rackets and even coolers. Great spot for reasonable driving to all the top locations - within about 10 minutes you can be on Duvall or Mallory Sqaure. Highly recommend!

We chose this building and the Coop specifically due to the distance from downtown Key West and the owner's great description and photos. We liked the idea of the resort style view and setting, as well as the opportunity to be away from the craziness of Duval Street at night. The owner Tom is a great communicator and we had several lengthy and friendly conversations in the weeks leading up to our trip. He provided numerous recommendations. The unit has everything you need and then some. Very large and comfortable. We did NOT need a car and took Uber everywhere. There is ZERO parking downtown and you just don't need a car. While on the eastern side of the island it is only 10 minutes to the downtown area. Most Uber drivers are accommodating and helpful. The fully equipped kitchen allows you to prepare meals after a busy day, or just breakfast before you set out. Tom has remodeled both bathrooms and they are super nice. He has cable and high-speed Internet and we took our own Roku stick for TV down time. We would definitely stay with Tom at the Coop again!

The Condo was spacious, and the description was exactly as it was described. Had a gorgeous view of the ocean from the balcony. The condo was very clean & comfortable. The Courtyard & pool deck was beautifully landscaped. We had a great time. I would highly recommend Tom's Chicken Coop & would definitely stay there again. Donna S.

We had a great experience at the Chicken Coop! It was a perfect place for my family of four with two older teenagers. We loved the peace and quiet and the location near Mallory square.

Our stay at Tom’s Chicken Coop was fantastic!! Everything looked exactly as he listed. The check in process was well laid out and easily understood. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything we needed and more. Tom also has a binder FULL of information that helped our stay be full of options. I would recommend this place to anyone at anytime.

This was our second year to rent the condo for my mom’s birthday (95 this year!), and still love the place. It is easy to get in and out of the parking lot, and the condo is in a great location on the island. We found the grocery stores easily, and there are many taxi services if you don’t want to park “downtown”. The condo has a great view of the sunrise, and is on the shady side in the afternoon (so we could sit outside - the condos on the other side are in full sun in the afternoon, so it’s a little bright). Absolutely would recommend this place. We were 4 adults, but children would enjoy the pool, and the small bedroom.

This condo was exactly as described. It’s well stocked with everything you would need. It was nice to be on the quiet side of the island, we spent many hours relaxing on the giant balcony and it was nice to wake up and see the ocean. We used Uber and Lyft to get around and it was very convenient (longest ride was about 15 minutes) and the wait times were short (less the. 5 minutes 99% of the time). The pool was great and not crowded at all and everyone we met in the building was so nice. The morning we left a gentleman told us “come back and see us soon”. We can’t wait to go back. You will love staying at Tom’s Chicken Coop.

My husband and I loved staying at Tom's gorgeous property. Exactly as advertised, the view is incredible and the apartment itself has everything you could need for your getaway. It's close enough to Old Town that you can get there easily by bike (or a quick Lyft) but is still quiet at night and within walking distance to the island's best beach (Higgs). Would highly recomend this great place and we hope to be back soon!

We were very pleasantly surprised by this place. I felt like I was visiting a relatives place while they were out of town. The place felt so comfortable and had personality. We loved the great shower and separate bathtub, large kitchen, expansive balcony overlooking the pool and well landscaped courtyard, and opening our curtains every morning to the beautiful sunny view. Tom also provided plenty of kitchen utensils, a small pantry (happy to not have to buy salt and pepper), and soap and shampoo… the small things that made you feel invited and welcome. The place is a bit of a bike ride to the downtown area but fine if you are an active adult. The pool was great. Thanks , Tom

We had an enjoyable time in this two bedroom condo. It was very clean and had all the conveniences of home. The location was quiet and peaceful and had plenty of chairs for the pool. It was a short drive to the Duval and any of the attractions.

Apartment it’s huge, they have everything that you might need. Very clean. View from balcony is breathtaking!
