the hosts were very welcoming and the establishment was immaculate. They contacted us prior to arrival regarding food preferences and I told them my husband was vegan. They accommodated his preference so beautifully, there were vegan snacks and milk in our room, plant based options for the breakfast. and when I asked for a mug for my tea on the first day, this was taken note of and was already sitting on our table the second day. The attention to detail and thoughtfulness was amazing and really lovely.

The hosts were lovely and had great tips about walks and local places to go, the property was a great location, parking wasn’t an issue, there were lovely home touches and it was just a great place to relax after long walks! The breakfast was also delicious! Thank you so much for having us :)

The owners were absolutely lovely and couldn’t have been more helpful. We stayed over new year and they gave us mini bottles of Prosecco on hogmany which i thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast was really good as well. Great location, close to centre of Keswick.

Breakfast is between 8.30am and 9am, this was a little early for us as not early risers!

Everything was great, we travel frequently and this is one of the best b&b’s we’ve ever stayed in, delicious cooked breakfast.

Lorraine and Simon were very warm and welcoming to guests. On top that, the house was very clean and the sheets, linens and towels were gloriously washed. I had terrible experiences with other guest houses in the past so I am very particular with those information I mentioned above. Very basic but so important. I would like to say thank you to both of our hosts for keeping us comfortable during our stay. I highly recommend this accomodation for a plush stay in Keswick. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Superbly located near Keswick centre. Fantastic welcome from the hosts - exceptionally friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fantastic and room was warm and comfortable. Really nice touch to provide cake in the evening!

It was challenging to find street parking close to the property

Dorchester House is in a great location. The hosts, Lorraine and Simon, are a great team. Lorraine is very welcoming, friendly and makes you feel at right at home and Simon makes a great breakfast. There is a good selection with cereals, porridge, fresh fruit pots, full English breakfast, toast, jams with tea and coffee. The place is spotless too. On our return from a day out, there were plates for each room with pieces of Victoria sandwich cake- a lovely touch! Thank you for a great stay - we will be back! .

All rooms are en-suite. The only slight negative was the en- suite to our room was small but we would rather have a small en-suite than a shared bathroom.
