Plenty of room for all the family while we had a family member in hospital.

Upon arrival we discovered: No hot water Air con in main bedroom was switched off at main down stairs. 2 of the rooms were provided with bath mats instead of bath towels. Fan dials were all missing except the one in main bedroom, so it was difficult to switch them off and on. TV remote backing doesn't stay on at all. Ceiling fans only go at one very slow speed Lawn through out the property was very overgrown and there was no way I could of bought my dogs to stay with the lawn in that condition. Old yellowed stains on bed linen. Gas stove only had one burner that would ignite, which limited our abilities to cook meals. Also was mentioned to walk down the left side of the steep driveway as it has non-slip coating. The non-slip coating was non existent as it has been worn off. Even the plumber slipped and nearly fell. I tried to call the owner twice throughout this to sort some of the more important issues out, such as hot water. They never answered the phone and would only reply through text messages, even with this, it would be hours before I would recieve any communication. Hot water was fixed by a plumber around 7 pm.the 2nd night we were staying there. And bath mats were replaced with towels. Overall disappointed given that we spent over $2000 for 6 nights. We ended up leaving 2 days early.

Great location in a leafy suburb not too far from city.

Driveway too steep and very narrow. People who are not very mobile need to consider this before booking. I struggled to get my luggage up the driveway and the up a flight of stairs just to get inside. The outside of the home needs a renovation, as it’s very dilapidated. In the photos there was an outdoor lounge setting, however when I arrived, it wasn’t there. I messaged the owner and she said they has removed it. Not ideal as it was in the photos on the site and that was one of the draw cards when I booked. Instead there was a table with dirty cushions on the bench seats looking out to the backyard which had two half blown up kids’ pools (clearly from previous guests who didn’t take them away). The owner should have do so prior to the next guests. I also have to add that the cushions didn’t smell fresh and I washed the covers myself.

Fresh, modern interior, with reasonably fenced yard (friendly neighbours!). Good location, quiet neighbourhood, excellent food options close by.
