Need native guide to find. Had to use 4 remotes to use T V. Too many bugs to sit outside. Only filtered view of lake. Bath commode seat only about 2" above water. Only 2 Honky Tonks close, nice restaurant too far and complicated to visit. O K for a native. We rented for a week. Left after 3 nights.

Had an enjoyable 3 night stay. Area is quiet and lake views were nice. perfect for time relaxing and some lake action. Would stay again. there are small town within 20-30 min for the basics and short 1 hour "ish" drive gets you to a larger city. Host were easy enough to get in touch if needed but their welcome packet was easy to understand and got us through without the need to contact. Had a great time. Would recommend and stay again.

Wonderful home and location. Everything was absolutely perfect. Would love to stay there again. Close to several spots to visit. Just staying at the house was peaceful and relaxing.

The property is located in a quiet family friendly neighborhood. The cove is close to the main lake but is quiet enough to play in the water and be comfortable. The beds and couch were super comfy!! The boat ramp is 5 minutes away if you need to put your boat in. We were under a heat advisory of heat index value of 109 and the A/C kept up wonderfully!

We used the house for overflow during a family reunion. It worked perfectly. The ones who stayed in the house loved it and said it could not have been more perfect. Already planning to do it again next year. Thank you so much!!!

My husband myself and our twin 11 year old grandsons spent a few memorable days at the Cabin in the Cove. The cabin was everything we needed for a fantastic trip. We had plenty of privacy. The dock, fishing and swimming made it all worthwhile. Lots of laughter and great memories made. Thank you so much for sharing your place with us. 🙏

Beautiful clean 2 bedroom house on the lake. Extremely well equipped with everything I needed to enjoy a reunion with my daughter and granddaughters. Enjoyed the sunrise with a cup of coffee on the dock and the deck. I would recommend this house to everyone who wants to stay at lake Hartwell.

Every detail is thought of. Neighbors were friendly, dock is brand new, home is better stocked than anywhere I've ever stayed.

This lake house was the perfect get away for me and my wife. Everything about this house made our stay an amazing one. It was very clean and the quiet surroundings is just what we wanted. We plan on using this place for many trips to come and already can't wait to go back again. The owners were very helpful and responsive.

We couldn’t have asked for a better place for a little weekend getaway that was a halfway point between our home & the place my niece was getting married at SC! It’s so spacious, well stocked with everything you need & a beautiful view of the lake! The only thing I would note is to make sure you bring some board games & DVDs because there’s absolutely NO TV/CABLE, my sons tablet took a dump while up there & the only tv in the house oo wasn’t capable of letting me “cast” from my phone/app to keep him from being bored lol other than that, we had an amazing time! If you like bbq & seafood, we suggest looking up Gumlog bbq & seafood on Facebook, they’re local & delicious, there’s always a little wait but well worth it.

Very secluded and quiet. If you like swimming in the lake or have a boat this is a nice place. Had everything you needed in the house. Unfortunately there’s not much to do in Martin. Needed to go to other cities to find things to do. There are a state parks within in driving distance. All in all a pleasant place.

We absolutely loved the lake cabin. It was just as listed - immaculately clean, had everything we needed. Right on the lake so we could fish and swim. Owners very prompt to respond to questions. I would highly recommend. We look forward to coming back!

We came for the Clemson game but didn’t want to stay with all the crowds near campus. This was a perfect getaway for our family and we were able to have friends from school join us for a lake day. The owners were responsive and communicative. Great experience!!!

This was a great place. Had some issues with the TV and not being able to watch certain things but the place was great! Definitely will try to go back and hope for better weather.

Donna and Kevin’s cabin was perfect for our stay with family! We have family living just around the bend from them, so the location was perfect. The home was well set up for us, with two bedrooms and plenty of space. They were gracious hosts, very communicative and the home had everything we needed! We’d happily stay there again - thank you guys so much!

We really enjoyed our stay! It had everything you would need to enjoy your vacation. We did have a little trouble with getting the tv to work and hooked up to our steaming devices. But overall it was peaceful and relaxing. We went to see Toccoa Falls and Brasstown Falls. The kids enjoyed the lake and we’re up by 9 am and in the water by 10am until it got dark. This is a perfect spot to kick back a relax.

Wonderful stay lakeside that included all amenities listed plus extras (plates, bowls, silverware, toaster, coffee maker, camping chairs, beach towels, foam mattress topper). Donna, the owner, was very responsive to all questions/concerns. Would definitely recommend!

We absolutely had an amazing time , kevin and Donna was amazing hosts. They responded very quickly to any questions or concerns we had. The home was beautiful and the setting was very peaceful. Will definitely be staying here again!
