Great experience to spend a night on this historic vessel. Very friendly hosts who have worked hard to transform their floating family home into bespoke bed and breakfast accommodation. Spectacular views across the River Medway and within walking distance (30 minutes) of the historic town of Rochester. Secure parking within a Marina and close to a cosy pub serving excellent food at good prices.

In the depths of winter extra blankets would be good.

Was great to have breakfast included. Myself was very happy with continental but the other half was expecting a cooked breakfast. There was plenty of choice for me and loved the mixed fruit. We also had pancakes with fresh fruit which my little one really enjoyed especially as it was child themed. (Mickey mouse) I believe.

Stairs up/down from room were quite steep. There is a handrail but still a bit nervous of little one doing it on his own. (Being an independent one which likes to do everything by himself) 😬

Amazing location with views to match. Beautifully renovated, clean and cosy. Lovely friendly owners who couldn’t do more.

The setting and views are wonderful. The room was charming and delightful. The lovely peaceful ambience was perfect for anyone wanting to get away from modern urban life for a break. The breakfast was fabulous.

Room that I booked, based on pics on website, did not reflect room offered on arrival. But, owner amended description on website upon realising this, after my comment to him. Saying that, I would be happy to stay there again.

The property was incredibly unique, exceptionally clean and in the most beautiful location. What a treasure! It’s obvious the hosts have put so much though and consideration into the little details. Our hosts also went above and beyond serving us the most beautiful breakfast and even homemade teddybear pancakes for a boys, needless to say they were grilled. Would love to stay again and recommend.

A wonderful unique property with a fascinating history, restored with great care by the owners to provide a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. Facilities were all excellent; friendly helpful host and a very good continental breakfast in a lovely dining area. It was a treat to wake up to life on the river!

It feels like a really original place to stay, the boat has history as a floating lighthouse. Now it's parked up right on the edge of the Medway. We enjoyed staying here and seeing the changing skies and all the other boats out of the windows. When we arrived, the hosts gave us tea and cake and we watched a sunset from the slightly windy terrace outside! The bedroom has loads of nice design touches, and the breakfast room is lovely too with a well-presented continental breakfast.

The location is a little far from Rochester Town and there isn't a frequent bus service. We enjoyed walking in to town along the esplanade in the day (lots of riverview flats to admire), and along the higher residential road at night (lots of nice old houses). It takes about 20-30 minutes. The room was warm and seemed well sound proofed as we didn't really hear the busy road nearby. I suggest taking an eye mask so you can sleep in through the bright sunrise!

A fantastic rental, wonderful views, great hosts, & a lovely continental breakfast. Comfortable bed, tea & coffee facilities in our room & the bottle of wine & nibbles was a lovely touch. Great location, 20 min walk into town & Rochester Castle. Great Sunday roast at the local pub the White horse which is 5 minutes walk from the marina. We would highly recommend & would definitely return. Thank you to our hosts 😊

Very quirky and unique.

We loved the property, it was in the perfect location for us, the ship is wonderfully quirky and the hosts are superb. Our only negative was the hot water runs out quickly (but heated up again in a very short time) and we’d have preferred a kingsize bed but these are just small things. We would come again, we loved it.
