wifi in room was not good

Staff was untrained. The facility is very old, the restaurant was shut down, and there was no water or food in the hotel. The room was small & dirty, broken toilet, walls peeling in the shower, bad bed, no hot water, and cockroaches in the room. The owner should not be in the hotel business.

The staff were excellent! They did their best to cater to my queries, without making excuses. The location was very convenient, just a few minutes walk to town and surrounded by a lit of really good restuarants, bars, food court/cinema and a variety of shops. The New Zealand and American High Commission too are just 2 minutes walk away.

The lighting in my room could have been better, it was a bit dark. The water pressure in the bathroom was very slow - it could be because of the mold in the shower heads. The shower heads need a thorough clean. Sad that I couldn't connect to the wifi in my room upstairs.

The room on the 2nd floor was very spacious, and opened onto an enclosed balcony with a limited view of the harbour, then an open balcony (good to dry towels etc). Aircon worked, and hot water (we had been camping). Tea making facilities, but no fridge. The location is really good. Several eateries next door, and a 5 minute walk to the edge of town, cafes, shops & the well known Nambawan Cafe (very good)

The Wi-Fi wasn't working in our room. Could get it in the reception area. The TV was new, but not connected to the antenna. (no problem for us as I was only there for a night) They wanted to be paid in Vatu

L'établissement est mal entretenu, vieux. L'ascenseur ne marchait pas. Arrivé dans la chambre, les murs étaient sales et le papier peint déchiré. Le lavabo était dégueulasse avec de l'eau stagnante et la poubelle de la chambre n'était pas vidée (canette de bière), à se demander vraiment si le ménage était fait. On avait demandé une chambre au calme, et bien elle donnait sur la route principale avec le bruit des voitures constantes car une fenêtre était impossible à fermer. Pas de petit déjeuner de compris ! Avec un tarif très très cher, beaucoup trop cher pour ce que c'était. Une chambre vieillotte, pas entretenue et sale !

Wifi is a little slow

I come pay smol price but room hemi big wan enough blo stap lem. Washroom inside and have an icebox.

The location was perfect for walking into town and seeing the market. The staff was helpful and friendly. The reception desk was open very late for check in and it was easy to ask questions if needed.

The Wi-Fi could have been faster but it wasn’t too bad. I could hear the traffic at night but it didn’t bother us really.
