My partner and I booked this house because reviews said it was peaceful and quiet. We were looking for something relaxing to do for our honeymoon and to be able to enjoy time away from our two small children. Everything was great but the only downside that I wish we were aware of was that there was going to be very loud construction next door starting at 7am and not stopping until 5pm everyday of our stay. It made it very difficult to sleep in or enjoy staying at the home during those hours. Would possibly book again once the construction is over because overall it is a great house.

Decided at the last minute to take a quick overnight trip to Fredricksburg. Found this reasonably priced house located off Main Street. It’s nicely furnished with an awesome back porch. I would absolutely stay again!!

We stayed here in May and returned in October. Perfect house for one or two couples. Cozi has been great to work with. Great location. Recent remodel. Everything in the house is brand new.

My wife & I wanted to spend a few days in Fredericksburg to celebrate our 10th anniversary. We’ve been to Fredericksburg several times before but wanted something really special. We found in this home and it more than met our expectations! The Alcove is really a very special place. It is home that has been renovated and redone very well. Lots of amenities that made it special & very enjoyable to spend time there. About half the house is a great room with a living space, huge island/kitchen area and a bar. In the other half of the house are 2 nice bedrooms with 2 full baths. Finally, there is a gorgeous covered back porch with a wonderful hot tub along with a fire pit. Morning coffee on the porch is really special. A nice soak in the hot tub at the end of the day was perfect. We had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed our time at the Alcove. Highly recommend it as a special place to stay

We have visited Fredericksburg many times and we all agreed this is the one we loved the best. The house arrangement and back porch is beautiful, roomy and suited the needs of 2 couples very nicely! The management group was quick to respond to our questions and needs. Only one thing we'd suggest: sticker or gripper be put on the living room rug so it's not a tripping hazard.

Great house with pretty much everything you could need. Enjoyed the hot tub and back porch. Everything is new and modern. They have thought of every convenience. The beds were very comfortable. Checkin and checkout was very easy. Would highly recommend this house for 2 couples or up to 4 friends. Also very well located for walking to a number of places to eat and shop.

Great family trip - close to downtown and the house provide plenty of room to relax inside and outside.

The moment our eyes at on the home it felt great . The inside was decorated nicely and very clean. We spent most our time outside and took advantage of the hot tub. It was a wonderful stay.

owners worked hard to check all the boxes. Just two small things could improve it from a hospitality vantage point. Better pillows and also some better hangars in the closet. Towel quality and consistency would also make it better. The interior design was very good and the back deck and hot tub were great. Kitchen equipment first rate. So why have mix and match old towels. We would definitely come back.

My family and I stayed here for 3 days. The house was just the right size for us. It was clean and comfortable. It was very conveniently located. We were able to walk to almost all the locations we wished to visit.

This property was immaculate and in the middle of everything! So convenient and the perfect size for 2 couples! Was so close to everything we wanted to do. Check in process was the easiest we’ve had at any other property we’ve stayed and we travel a significant amount. This little house was perfect for our party of four. We especially loved the outdoor patio. The location was perfect for shopping and dining.

We have stayed at many bed and breakfast places in Fredericksburg and this is one of my favorites! The house is modern, well decorated and extremely clean. Every detail was thought of and the kitchen is fantastic. The neighborhood is a nice place to walk and it is very close to Main Street. Melissa is an excellent communicator and adds a personal touch to your stay. You won't regret staying here!

Property was as advertised, spacious living area, well decorated, clean and neat. Melissa the owner was Five star. Have closets and hangers in each BR but suggest drawers to fully unpack. Overall very nice stay.

The house was everything advertised and more. We’ve done many VRBO rentals and this was in the top 3. Great location - very short walk to many attractions. Back patio was a great place to relax, unwind and enjoy a nice glass of wine after a day of sightseeing, shopping or touring the lovely vineyards. Would highly recommend and we would definitely stay again.

Challenges of the TV /internet Minor thing would be to have dresser in bedrooms.

Highly recommend this cute house in Fredericksburg. Freshly remodeled and updated this was the best VRBO we’ve ever stayed at. The homeowner was very quick to answer any questions we had and made our stay enjoyable. The layout was perfect and the entertaining area in the back was perfect. We definitely will share our experience with others and would gladly rent this home again!
