Staff really helpful, room recently refurbished and very clean. Food excellent. Although music on at night downstairs the doors really muted it to the point we barely noticed it. Very good value for money. Will definitely be back

Great location, right on the seafront. We were on the top floor, quite a few flights of stairs though! Music/DJ went on quite late, could hear it but it didnt really disturb us. Had drinks there but not food, so cant comment but it looked good. Good value for money.

Property offered all anyone would wish for an overnight stay. Room was welcoming with more than adequate facilities. Staff were excellent and the food was very good.

Saved my marriage last time we went as i booked in somewhere else but walked out. Had a look here and wow, loved it and booked to stay the night. Thought we would try again. Lovely place, bar clean and inviting. Rooms clean. Food brilliant. We will be back a 3rd time soon. Our little get away place. X

The room was amazing and breakfast, but the noise was hard to sleep due nightclub coming through the windows which were shut and evrryone shiuting outside. Got no sleep until 12.30pm. Would recommend for those having a night out but not if having an early morning.

Friendly staff added to the experience of staying here. The Royal is well located on the seafront, small car park available (pay) behind hotel, rooms are clean and recently refurbished, ours had great views over the sea to the Lake District complete with a magnificent sunset. Breakfast was included and choice was good and very substantial. We only stayed 1 night but overall found the hotel very good value for money

We love love love this place!!! Staff were excellent, room was gorgeous with brand new bathroom and very comfy bed. Food downstairs was excellent! We would give this place 6 stars....and will definitely come back. Best place to stay overlooking the bay in Morecambe!

Stayed as part of a cycling holiday. Staff couldn’t have been more helpful, rooms newly renovated and very comfortable, breakfast choices excellent

The staff I saw were both friendly and professional, and the bar itself looked quite bright on arrival. I had an appointment elsewhere. The review is for my room only, as it was right at the top, so lots of stairs, quite narrow. Everything was fine but the bed took up all of the space and the shower/toilet was designed for a slimmer person than I. Coffee making gear present, but no wardrobe or storage. Make it a single room, with a single bed, chair, and wardrobe.

Love this place ,lovely rooms spacious and clean ,very friendly staff and food is gorgeous.

Hotel perfectly clean and presentable. My main issues were the lack of WiFi on the 2nd floor and the need to climb 3 sets of stairs to reach the room.

Shocking hotel. Rooms to small. Entry to the room was didficult.

Very helpful with our need for a late check in. Great overnight stay.

Great time food lovely and staff very friendly

The place has been done out quite well. Clean and quiet. No food available the night I stayed and breakfast didn’t start until 9. So paid for something I couldn’t use.

Lovely views room and hotel recently refurbished nice decor. No parking and no hair dryer available and had difficulty with the wi fi. Door access with pin not easy and steps to top floor were a challenge with luggage. Breakfast very good would recommend and would stay again.

Freshly decorated and clean but only 1 bath towel and a floor mat in the room. Hand soap was empty, the stuffing had left the pillows and the room was cold. Turned the heating on, folded the pillows in half and shared a towel

Friendly staff and comfortable room.Parking limited and not free and tricky to find. Lots of street noise until early next morning learned some new swear words. Confusion next morning over whether breakfast was included

Great place recently refurbished by the looks of it, above a great looking bar right on the sea front The music from the late bar was ok, being on the top floor didn't disturb us but to be expected. Staff were great friendly and helpful

Lovely refurbishment, paid extra to have a suite with sea view however possibly the worse decision as there is live music on each Saturday so we were told when checking in “you might here some music”… returning to the room around 10pm for drinks and enjoying the suite was ruined, as was any chance of sleep until gone midnight - the live band could have been at the end of the bed and it couldn’t have been louder! Ruined what could have been a new regular stay as the rest was spot on and had already been planning bringing other guests for a return trip!

Properly was very clean and well maintained.Even though all food options was not available what we had was of good quality and very tasty.The staff were very helpful and polite and welcoming .Would happily stay again if we are ever in this area again .

Everything about this hotel was great only downfall was there is no lift, so if you have any issues with stairs it's not ideal. The staff are friendly & helpful. Hubby had full breakfast & he said best breakfast he'd had in a long time.

Beautiful hotel and comfy beds. Rooms are smaller than they look on pictures. Dj on in hotel bar was great and music was off by 11:30/12 so didn’t keep us up.

The property is very clean, recently refurbished and room nicely decorated, basic clean and comfortable. Location in centre of Morecambe so walked both ends of promenade. Staff friendly and attentive. We ate at the local pub which we regretted having seen the food here.

Room was so clean you could feel the smoothness of the carpet on the feet. Lovely sea view and great to see the Eric Morecambe statue. Good location for nearby pubs. Kudos to the great breakfast too, one of the best I’ve had.
