Comfortable Queen-sized bed, with enough blankets to keep you warm. Hot showers. Welcoming staff. Good but simple breakfast. Super walkable to tourist sites, restaurants, banks, shopping, markets, and parks.
Internet was spotty in our room at the back of the hotel, but strong in the seating area outside our room.

GREAT wifi, 8 min walk to historical city center, near good restaurants and bars, well appointed accommodations, hot water, adequate breakfast.
nothing. my stay was beyond comfort.
4.5
Very welcoming hosts, decent breakfast, excellent location, felt safe.
Room and bathroom were a bit crowded, but worked. Hard beds and pillows but not a problem.

Location was perfect. The service was friendly and accommodating. For the price, the hotel exceeded my expectations. A beautifully restored historic building near many shops, restaurants, museums and the river.
A bit noisy due to the architecture, but nothing beyond what you would have at most hotels with people coming in late
after a night out, or leaving early to take a tour.

Very closely located to the center of old town, and the rooms are very quiet. Even when the streets are super busy, you can hardly hear a sound. The privacy curtains in the rooms allow you to keep the room very dark if you wish. Very beautiful inside the hotel, with sitting areas, plants, and skylights.
4.5
This hotel is centrally located - historical sites, restaurants, bars and clubs - everything is within a few minutes walk. The hotel was clean and the staff attentive. There are two comfortable sitting areas on the first floor. The beds are comfortable.
Guests were making a lot of noise late into the night and nothing was done about it. The rooms are a little small and the bathrooms are tiny.

The place is very central, a few minutes walk from the main church. The reception lady is very helpful ordering a taxi and preparing breakfast. The yard is quite nice and beautiful with bunnies running around. Well decorated. Nice shower. The room might have dust since my nose is very sensitive with dust and I can smell it. My nose actually hurts and feels dry when I work up.
WiFi and phone signal are weak in the area. The lady enters and cleans my room without my permission. Breakfast is only available from 7.30 to 9am, with such a tight schedule, do expect large crowds eating breakfast at the kitchen area (so busy, no seats). Also, when checking in, the receptionist will give you clean towels and a TV controller, and she normally puts it in a plastic basket. Be careful of the broken plastic basket, it breaks one of my nails.and causes bleeding.

everything, especially the hospitality. I really felt welcome and am grateful to their gesture to make me feel completely satisfied during my stay.
nothing. everything was perfect.

Absolutely beautiful hotel, felt very comfortable and every corner decorated. Shower water pressure was amazing and the rooms got very dark and quiet for excellent sleep.

Great location in the old town of Cuenca. Beautiful old building.

I enjoyed the breakfast of eggs, bread, coffee and juice. Especially the fruit juice! The service was excellent. The server was prompt and courteous. Though I arrived a little early for check in the staff member showed me to my room.

The rooms at this hotel are so reasonable that I was a little afraid of what the rooms might be like. They turned out to be very comfortable, representing a fantastic value. There were few other people staying at the hotel, so I also had free rein over the sitting areas and the lovely patio. The staff members were amazing, especially Javier, looking out for their guests and making it feel like staying with family. The location is prime: a couple blocks from the historic center in one direction and the river (and the Museo Pumapongo and Inca ruins) in the other. Eating and drinking options abound. Really a nice place to stay in a most pleasant city.
I liked everything. I was glad that I had taken a screenshot of the Google maps route from the airport to the hotel, since the cabdriver had not heard of the hotel. (At the time, I didn't know of any nearby landmarks to tell him.) I was able to communicate with him in Spanish, but otherwise, the screenshot would have been key. My cellphone data access (T-Mobile) worked everywhere in Cuenca, except during that initial cab ride, for some reason.

Great place to stay, and excellently run! The owner is incredibly friendly and helpful, and provides as much advice and support as he can. Great location near to the centre of Cuenca. Would absolutely recommend this and stay again.
Breakfast is quite egg heavy (a challenge for me as I can’t eat eggs)

The location was perfect in the middle of the town
Nothing, everything ok
