The house was perfect for our family get together. The kitchen had everything we needed including a well stocked pantry. The pool area was fabulous...includes a fun basketball hoop and every pool toy you could ask for. The manager was extremely responsive and helpful. We intend to return to this house!

The view and pool provide a maximum WOW factor! This home was the perfect setting for our family get together. The house had a very well equipped kitchen and plenty of seating inside and outside. We were lucky to have warm weather so we made great use of the pool. This location is the perfect mix of a completely private location and the convenience of only being 10 minutes to the closest store. Kate was a fantastic host and was quick to respond to all questions. If more stars were available for rating, I would select them all!

We spent a long weekend together with four other couples to celebrate our 50 years of friendship (college roommates) and turning 70. We have all traveled around the world, come from different places but unanimously found this house overlooking the valley to be special. What a view! The deck out back seemed to be newish with comfy furniture and a grill. The configuration of the bedrooms and bathrooms made for pleasant stays. Best shower I've ever had with a range of spouts and temperature settings. The kitchen was well stocked with an array of cookware, spices, oils, snacks, coffees, etc. Great indoor sitting areas. The new owners (hosts) of the house have kept most everything in place that has made this house so desirable over the years while adding some personal touches to make us smile (very soft towels, comfy bedding). Kate, the host, was in regular communication with me before and during the visit whenever I had any questions. Although we mostly stayed in the house, we did go for some lovely hikes on paths they recommended in the area. We will come back.

This was our second stay here with family and friends, and it was grand. As I wrote last year, the house is beautifully designed, spacious, well equipped, very comfortable, has a spectacular view, and the pool (with a retractable safety cover) is a great asset. John is an excellent host and he followed up quickly when we encountered a couple of glitches during our 2-week stay. We look forward to returning to this splendid 5-star house for future vacations!

This is the perfect spot for our family vacation.This is a comfortable well appointed home in an ideal location near parks for hiking and exploring and Great Barrington and Stockbridge for theater ,shopping and dining.For my grandkids the pool is the best feature.Sun sets from this mountain top home are spectacular.

The house was great! Very clean and well appointed. The pictures don't do it justice. There was plenty of space for the family to spread out. John was a great host and checked in from time to time during our stay to see if we had any questions.

Actually a large house with plenty of room for our 6 adult and 3 children family. Pool was great and there were plenty of games, books, and toys for the kids. What was not mentioned in the listing was the spectacular view. My grandchildren sat and watched the beautiful sunset almost every night. The owner was incredibly responsive, helpful, and welcoming.

The house and host were extremely welcoming. The experience was top notch from start to finish. The perfect place to spend with friends and family - open kitchen with new amenities, super cozy living room with working fireplace, and beautiful views from the porch. John was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great experience. Book this place - you won’t regret it!

We had a wonderful 2-week stay here with family and friends in August 2022. The house is beautifully designed, spacious, well equipped, comfortable in every respect, and situated to take advantage of a spectacular view, including some magnificent sunsets. The pool is a great asset and all of us made good use of it. The kitchen is worthy of a cooking show. For those who have to mix business with pleasure, the house is well set up for remote work with reliable WiFi. The owners take great care of everything and were very helpful in providing information to enhance our stay. There are many attractions in the area - hiking, walking/biking the rail trail, concerts, etc. We hope to return to this splendid house for future vacations. It's a 5-star winner!
