THE PLACE NEEDS WORK

Very fast and easy check in. Super friendly staff. The location is easy to get to and they have a pool thats fun to play in. Our room was amazing. We booked a room that had 3 beds and good space! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend this hotel.

New owners had recently taken over and were enthusiastic about pleasing guests and renovating the property. Our suite was roomy and parking was free and easy. Breakfast was complimentary and the pool looked well kept though we didn’t use it. Other guests were friendly and the cost was lower than comparable stays.

The staff was very friendly and helpful the room was beautiful and clean and they are very pet friendly

My mom has PTSD & freaks out over the fireworks & M80's etc. it's difficult to find a place to stay that we don't hear them but r room was very quiet, we were very comfortable & had a wonderful rest & we only had to travel 2hrs from home. I know it must sound strange to u but it was a blessing to us & r lil 6 lb senior puppy was welcomed w/o any questions. Negative would be the elevator getting stuck twice becuz two larger men squeezed in with a LOT of food & I was not only stuck & couldn't get out but then the elevator got stuck too, it was kind of scary for a short period of time. But over all we are hoping to have a repete experience next year, maybe not the elevator lol Thank you everyone!!

It could have been nice but first impression of staff not welcoming and tried to overcharge as my rate for 2 nights was to be 240.00 but receipt showed 496.00 It was resolved via Expedia got room discounted to 95 per night. Room in desperate need of repair. Fly's in room. Not cleaned as was used soap in shower and lotion and hair samples were half used. Did not feel secure. View of opened shed in back outside of window did not feel safe like a murder shed is what it felt like from a horror movie. Was told by front desk that pool was dirty and unusable while I saw people swimming in it. Just ended up getting dinner and locking myself in room with chair against door also window in bathroom was left unlocked glad I checked it. Will never stay there again my friends are travel agents and I am in the Media industry.

I had complained about the air conditioner not working properly after night and asked to be moved to a different room, to which the manager replied that there were no other rooms available. However… the parking lot was NEVER full, so I doubt this to be the truth. When I complained again upon check out about the air conditioner, he said that they were going to replace the unit, but did not provide any compensation or anything for my troubles. Also, the room was dirty… we found several soda bottles under the beds that were not ours. The breakfast was definitely subpar and not what I’m used to from past experiences at Quality Inns. The only redeeming feature was the pool, which was refreshing but also not very clean.

The hotel room was old and musty. They said it was pet friendly but did not have an adequate place to take your dog. They wanted you to take it behind the hotel where there was lots of junk and debris abd NO grass, no pet station to put your dogs poo. Not pet safe at ALL. They watered the only grassy area they had during the day so you couldn't even sit out there and enjoy the area. The ice machine was outside and was absolutely disgusting. I would never stay here again. The pictures of the rooms are NOT what they look like. I wish I had taken pictures

The employees are nice enough and they are undergoing some renovations… so keep that in mind. We stayed here two nights in the same week. The first night was pretty average. The breakfast quality of food is okay, but not very well monitored as some items were not stocked in the middle of the short breakfast time. And the offerings are pretty meager. For example they don’t have butter for the waffles… They have super short pool hours. We asked about hours for the pool a little after 9 pm and they employee laughed and told us it was closed because it was nighttime. Most hotels the pool is open until 10 or later. The one time we did get to use the pool we could tell the filter hadn’t been run in a while. The second night we stayed our experience was poor. I had to wait over 5 minutes at the front desk to speak with someone and then I only did because I went out the office door to the hotel grounds and found an employee. The room we stayed is smelled really bad. We tried to switch rooms but they were full.

Room had not been cleaned other than bedding changed. Manager was diligent.

It is obvious that the owner takes great pride in his hotel and works hard to ensure everyone has a good stay

Pool water was murky, no ice, very limited outlets for phone charging in room, lighting in room was very dim and bad for reading. We will not stay here again.

This is a motel. This means that you may be staying in a room in between two people that are living there. The remodel was just a facelift and you can still see the age in the room. I ended up walking out not staying there.

Great hospitality. Good size room and a nice area. They are improving the hotel and doing a good job. Nestles in the city of Jackson and it is a quiet area

The room interior was nice looking. Our AC unit was very loud, so we kept it off for the night and slept hot. The sofa bed was not comfortable. Very limited breakfast offerings

They get a star for a cleanish pillow, decent carpeting, good parking-lot lighting and clean towels. Now for the minuses. The polyester sheets looked like they had not been changed. Creases everywhere in the sheets except the center of the bed where somebody obviously slept there previously. There were pubic hairs in the sink, toilet and tub. The bathroom is ancient tile and linoleum floor. No Kleenex/facial tissues. Bathtub/shower was slicker than a slide with no non-skid bathmat in the bathroom. There were no available plugs at the head of the bed for charging phones/CPAPs. TV didn't appear to have any signal but at least turned on. Breakfast was waffle maker, yogurt and some cereal. No eggs, no sausage, no bacon. I don't' recall seeing a City/State Health Inspection rating so I imagine it's barely passable, if they even have one. I felt ill for hours after having a single rubbery waffle. There is building supplies everywhere around the office and rotting furniture in the back of the building and next to stairwells. The pool was many shades of green depending on the depth. I rarely if ever complain but this place is horrible. I didn't see any bites on my skin was itchy after sleeping there. Not sure what they wash things in but I think it was irritating my skin and that never happens. I'm ex-military and I can't remember hating a place as much as this. I can take old and needing repairs but filthy is not something I can tolerate and neither should you. Hard pass.

Customer service was on point! The room was pretty standard for a motel. My wife liked the beds but I thought the sheets were a bit weird and took some getting use to. My wife didn’t like the bathroom because it was old but I thought it got the job done okay. I usually like a little more added security with another lock on the door but it ended being fine. Give that guy at the count a raise tho. He gave me bottles of water and filled up the waffle station when it was empty and I was the only guy there.

After remodel completed, I'm sure it'll be nice

The room was very quiet, facing away from Highway 49 and towards undeveloped wooded grassland.

I was able to park my car right outside my window. Big plus for me.

When I checked in the room was excellent, but my stay was 2days, no one cleared after I arrived, I thought they would at least change the towels. The water pressure was great, however the shower tub didn’t drain properly. The hot water on the sink woke up the neighbors, lol. When I went to check out no one was available. And I had to change the input on the TV whenever I watched it which wasn’t so bad but I had to figure it out. If they would have changed the towels and made the bed they would have had more stars

When reserved i made sure everything was right but when i arrived my reservation was for next day so i had to pay for extra day i didnt use

The new owners are working really hard to renovate this motel. The rooms are very comfortable, the place is very quiet. Yes there is a bit of a mess outside while work goes on but that can be overlooked. The owner is very nice and serviable. Breakfast is good but some bread and/or bagels would be a nice addition.

Super staff and very accommodating. We were pulling a small trailer and they helped us find a place to park and didn’t make us feel like we were inconveniencing them. It was very nice! Looks like they’re trying to update the hotel and working hard. We had a restful night.
