We brought our kids here for the week. Perfect location to the beach and club/community pool. The food especially the burgers at the pool bar were a hit with everyone. As well as the sweet manatees off the docks. It rained 3 of the days but we made the best of it under the covered porch and took every opportunity to hit the beach or pool during the breaks in the storm. The house was both quiet and cozy and offered every amenity we needed.

Our family of 6 really enjoyed our stay on North Captiva. This house was perfect for us. It was very clean and updated. The outdoor spaces were our favorites. The golf carts were great and a must have for the island. The house is ver convenient to the beach. Wonderful place to visit!

Our family loved every minute of our stay at Waid N Sea! The home itself was gorgeous, brand new + fully stocked and was 5 star beach vacation ready!! Besides the main house, we really enjoyed the outdoor spaces to gather. (Screen in porch, the outside bar & fire pit + of course our own private pool!) Having 2 golf carts was an extra bonus as well!! With such a great location, we found that we could easily walk to our favorite beach or the nature center, however the golf carts made setting up at the beach with chairs & such a breeze. We also had so much fun driving to the club pool + our daily ice cream run! We found the island to be a perfect blend of checking out & family time. Our family currently has teens & a tween, but this home would also have been fantastic for families with young kids, multi-generational travel or couples too! Logistics were seamless as well. We used island girl ferry and were met at the dock by the fantastic concierge who brought our luggage & food to the house for us. Truly every detail was covered…and we were given contact info for any questions or concerns that could have come up. Amy was incredibly helpful during the booking process and made sure we had everything we needed to have a wonderful stay. Thank you!! We highly recommend this property!! We LOVED our first experience on North Captiva & honored to be the first family to stay at this property. We can’t wait to book a return visit to Waid N Sea!!
