great location 5 min walk from pubs parking at property lovely welcoming staff very clean and modern rooms bed’s extremely comfy

We had a super 3 nights stay in this modern decorated guesthouse. Plenty of parking on the driveway. It is a short walk to Doolin centre passing several restaurants along the way. There is a bus stop close by to/from the Cliffs of Moher visitor centre. Do check the timetable if you intend to use it as it is quite infrequent. Note: there is no bus service to/from Hag's Head. We took the first bus in the morning to Liscannor (past the visitor centre) and walked all the way back to Doolin which is a 19.5km walk. Well placed for a short car ride to the Doolin Ferry and Doolin Cave. Dierdre was very welcoming and efficient. The room was warm and comfortable with lovely crisp ironed white bedding and thick towels. We had a loft style window with black out blind. Lots of nice touches and colour coordinated. Fresh flowers in the hallway. Large and comfortable common/tv/living room with a table with ‘help yourself’ tea/ coffee/water facilities. Again, the attention to detail included a choice of biscuits. Used mugs/cups were regularly cleaned and replaced throughout the day. We had not booked the breakfast option as we had planned to set off early in the mornings but Dierdre treated us to a free breakfast on our last morning before we left. It was very kind of her and the choice of breakfast was exceptional - the fried eggs were perfectly cooked! The restaurant waitress/helper was attentive and professional.

The walls were quite thin as we could hear some noises from guests coming in late at night. The room could have accommodated a 5ft bed instead of a 4ft 6inch (but that’s just me being used to my larger 6ft 6inch bed!).
