Clean and just comfortable home away from home

This apartment was a new listing and we got a very good rate in comparison. Originally, we were told that we would get an email with instructions the day before our stay. Ellen was our contact person with the VRBO management company (the organizational side, not the direct owner). We had to reach out first to get the email with the instructions, but Ellen answered with no major time delay. There was a video that explained how to get into the building. This would have been a problem if we hadn’t had access to WiFi at the time. It would have been nice to get the info a little earlier and without prompting. The instructions are crucial to find the entrance and the lock box with the key to the apartment. Google maps will not guide you to the entrance of the building. But today, when I checked on google maps again, I saw a green circle with an arrow on the square that represents the building in it which pointed right at the entrance. I hope this helps some people. There are a few lock boxes but the instructions video makes this really simple. There is an elevator so you don’t have to climb any stairs. It would have been nice to have aluminum foil as the oven was quite greasy and didn’t look as if it had ever been cleaned. Everything else looked very clean, especially the microwave. This is a suggestion to a prospective visitor as well as the owner: you will have to provide your own washing machine detergent and dishwasher pods.
