No hotel is perfect, but some things need to be correct. Staff was competent and friendly except for the restaurant breakfast staff in the morning (dinner time were good). Most of the time just standing around talking to each other not paying attention to the fact that there are No coffee cups available while they are standing in front of where the coffee cups should be, trays for the buffet without food, No bread (0) available while the person in charge walks right past it and takes no action. I sent laundry to be cleaned and received pieces unironed, some pieces burnt when ironed. After complaints it was done again and done right. One of the three elevators was broken almost every day. Would be fixed in the morning and by afternoon, stopped on the 8th floor again. On the other hand the Reception, Bellboy and Security staff were helpful and nice. Hotel is OK but it is an older property, I believe the "Sleep Inn" about 200 yards away offers nicer rooms, better security enclosure and friendlier more competent staff for breakfast. Would I stay here again ? Yes, but the SLEEP INN would be my First Choice.

My stay at Marriott Hotel in San Jose , Costa Rica was amazing. Very friendly employees, very clean Hotel, Food in Restaurant was delicious. Location is very excellent, very close to Downtown.. Overall was great experience and my stay was enjoyable.. I will definitely stay again

Thank goodness we found this hotel! They are updating the rooms which is a wonderful thing! The staff were friendly and accommodating.

New to Costa Rica, this Delta hotel was perfect. The staff were kind and friendly. The bartender, Ian, served me a glass of wine three times the size I'd get in the states. The breakfast choices were too numerous to list.

The location near the Central Market and National Theater was great. The woman who cleaned my room (Ana) was wonderful. The people who worked at the front desk were kind and helpful. The hotel restaurant was good and cafes and restaurants and stores were within a short walk from the hotel. I liked the gym although it might be good to add another treadmill eventually. (There is currently only one treadmill.) my room was large and my bed was excellent for sleeping. I would love to return to this hotel.

The lobby is very nice. Other than that do not stay here. The air conditioner has 2 speed freeze or super hot, they do not tell anything. The tv an internet when out . They told me that they sent a repair mem . They are lying , I ask for the repairmen by the lobby because the are lying about everything. Breakfast was horrible everything was cold. Finally they gave a new room. Is like the use their money in the lobby to impress people. Do not get fool.

Hotel very nice. Food pretty good. Mattress hard. Pool very well kept and pool area was very nicely done. Area not the best. Don't suggest going out after dark. Even locals seemed to desert the streets then.

The Jacuzzi was fifteen degrees too cold and chucks of it falls off into the pool. Did not work properly.
For the price they really should have had a continental style breakfast.
Was still a nice hotel but attention needs to be made in the areas of plumbing just like every hotel we stayed in.
