Very cute boutique hotel with nice grounds and rooms. Excellent service and friendly staff. A few areas could be refurbished or cleaned better. Dust and a dirty tissue in room. Pool needs an update.

It was wonderful until the valet brought us our car with sap all over it and then took no steps to remedy the issue.

Front desk was amazing and the property is so quaint and sleek. The staff also have our son food to feed their coi fish and have us complimentary sparkling wine upon arrival! Then they delivered complimentary champagne. Place felt like a home away from home. Will definitely stay here again.

Very pleasant small hotel with 3 pools, 2 of which were 18+ so quite a grown up boutique feel. Family pool largest and shaded loungers all round. Loungers, attentive poolside bar service at all pools, parasols. Room was excellent. Food good value - açai bowl and cheeseburger really excellent- seating next to pool. Free coffee til 10am

The suite to which we were upgraded looked NOTHING like the pictures. It was a battle to get the upgrade.

Great location and didn’t need to rent a car since downtown with lots of restaurants within walking.
Hotel nice and quiet and they keep up the grounds nicely. I liked that they had an adult pool separate from the family pool.
The room needed some improvement with bathroom outlet not working and the tp holder falling off the wall. The light from the refrigerator was too bright so I threw a towel over it when sleeping.
I liked that we were able to use their bikes to tour around the neighborhood.

We had a wonderful time at Avalon. The staff at this hotel is amazing. Accommodating, pleasant, professional. We used the hotel bikes for transportation and it was perfect. Pools were lovely.
