Very much enjoyed our stay . Lovely big room, great pool and loungers. Enjoyed use of free bicycles. Very friendly staff. Only negative was service at breakfast was poor.

We had a really lovely stay here. Being able to walk right out onto the beach path, and easy access to the beach. We were happily handed chairs, umbrella, sand toys and towel whenever we pleased, and we could just drop them off when we were done -- so convenient. The staff was welcoming, helpful and professional. The room was clean, up-to-date and with a bit of character. The texting communication to keep us informed and looked after was great. Lastly, our ocean view balcony room was the icing on the cake. We miss watching the sunset view from our balcony and the times we sat on the beach with our toddler play. This hotel was the foundation for a wonderful trip to San Diego from Brooklyn. Highly recommend.

Loved the stay, the customer service was beyond amazing, all the hotels should try to be like Pacific Terrace. Staff was friendly and great, property was nice and kept up, pool and amenities were nice, great area to enjoy the view and relax out by the pool. There are plenty of brings to do right in the area, memorable stay.

Bed duvet really stained and gross, still coved with bottom and top white sheet but I do believe it’s time to through those stained ones away. We also had our trash can infested with ants with just having a plastic/ closed hamburger container in the garbage for 12 hours.

The hotel was beach adjacent and had spacious rooms and a good on-site restaurant. There was secure basement level parking. The location was convenient to either downtown San Diego or up to La Jolla.

Old, dirty, rundown, staff is friendly but really bad (slow, hard of understanding, forgetting and/or mixing up orders, poorly educated).

Great place to stay if you want ocean front! Location could not get any better. Area is quiet at night and felt
really safe being there. While the hotel may show its age a little, the location and staff make up for any shortcomings. Rooms are nice, but do not bring excess luggage as there is little storage in the room. Overall, would highly recommend this property if you are staying on Pacific Beach.
