Overall my stay was very good. The staff and service was excellent. However, my room was facing the main road, and although my room was on the second floor, due the drafts from the gaps in the windows, it also allowed the street noise from those less fortunate to echo into my room in the early hours of the morning. Also on my final night, after i had eaten, i tired to get back into my room only or the key card to fail. After returning to the reception to get a replacement card, i tried again to get into my room, but again failed. This time i called down to reception, where upon a very polite and friendly Irish gentleman came up and tried to use his master key.. still no luck. He then tried to unscrew the cover to the battery case underneath the lock, but this also failed. At this stage, he suggested i return to the bar where i was given a complimentary drink to wait until he gained entry for me. 45 minutes later i was told my door was, but because he sill couldn't fix it, he had left the door on the latch and i would have to lock it from the inside until he could get it fixed the following. I returned to my room only to find that it had been left ajar with all my personal belonging still in there. fortunately it was late and nothing had been taken, but it could have been a lot worse. Next time should this happen again, may i suggest, your staff call down to reception then waiting by the door until the guest returns to the room, to avoid any possible loss of property.

Had a great 2 night stay as watching a performance at cathedral great location for walking into city
Plenty of restaurants bars shops in easy walking distance
Room was spacious and clean
Bed comfy
Swimming pool small but adequate
Changing area for pool could do with refurbishing as very wet all the time but that’s only slight negative

Great central hotel, with parking but if you're staying here Friday, Saturday or Sunday be prepared to go hungry. After a hard days work to be told I'd have to get a takeaway simply isn't good enough

I really like this hotel. It’s older, but that’s appealing. Right across from the railway station. Seven minute walk to the cathedral.

It's a nice hotel and we had a good sized room in a great central location. Breakfast was good and the staff were friendly. Check-in and check-out were both quick and efficient.

Honestly, the location of this hotel is amazing. It's in the middle of Worcester and directly across from the railway station. It was perfect for us to base ourselves out of while working locally. The hotel is lovely and does have a vibe of a bygone era while being charming and welcoming. Check in was easy, our room was sizable and had everything we needed. We had the breakfast only one of the mornings and it was decent and with a few options to choose from. There is areas of wear and tear in the hotel, like tatty carpets, but it wasn't too bad. Probably just needs a spruce up. However, our rainfall shower head in our room actually broke off while my partner was in the shower (pins on the ball joint to adjust it just snapped from years of wearing), so some areas do need looking into with the property. Even saying that, it was a nice place to stay and I would definitely do so again in the future.
