Room was not as described or as seen in pictures. One of the pictures showed a chair in the corner with a little table by it. There was no chair or little table in the room. When going to the desk to ask about it we were told that rooms change all the time. We were not even offered a chair then the following morning when the storage room door was open there was several chair in there that they could have given us. The king bed had 2 separate boxsprings and it slopped to the middle. It was dirty my husband had a pair of clean white socks on and he was walking around the room and the bottom of his socks turns black from dirt, I used a towel to clean up water on the floor and you could see the dirt on the towel from the floor. There was an alley way not even a foot from the windows on the first floor. We had booked a 2 night stay but left after 1 night. We could be people fighting(yelling, screaming, slamming things) plus smell people smoking not only cigarettes but drugs(smelt like skunk inside the hotel but not outside) this is inside the hotel

We showed up at 3 to check-in (the time noted to do so) and were told that rooms werent ready because they were "fully booked the night before". Check out time is 11 and there was still a pretty full parking lot... so i dont imagine all rooms had to be cleaned... but we were told to come back in "like an hour...actually closer to two". This after being in a car most of the morning and having finished a campus tour. We just wanted to unload and freshen up before dinner. Really frustrated and disappointed with that. Come to the room hours later, its okay, pretty much what you expect for an "express" hotel. Only bothersome things were the outlet by the one side of the bed was busted so you couldnt use it, the door let in SO much light as it wasnt properly installed and the bathroom wasnt very clean. During breakfast the lady handling everything was quite rude to the guests. One gentlemen was holding the tray lid up for his wife and she snapped at him that he didnt have to hold it, it would hold its self.. but at a very low level, making it harder to get the eggs out. She was just snappy and rude to everyone, trying to refill stiff while guests were using something, snapping at them to "please move". I didnt expect a 5 star experience, but we definitely will chose elsewhere next time as we do plan on revisting the area a lot.

They need to improve the’’televisions (replace them with smart tv) and the telephones (replace them with digital phones) in the rooms.

Room smelled heavily of smoke. Elevator is a little scary and needs much updating. Front desk was kind, helpful, and amazing. A decent place to stay short term or overnight. Just know that it is on a very busy segment of road.
