I was in Decatur for a wedding. The stay was really nice, the staff was friendly, the beds/sheets were very comfortable, and the breakfast was very good!
This will be my go to spot when visiting family in Illinois.

We were assessed a $5 "parking fee" using our card that we were asked to give them at checkin. They are using parking fees to cover the gap in what Hotels.com has them contracted at and what others would pay. I asked how they know if I parked there as we were travelling with a college VB team, her reply "we charge everyone who uses a 3rd party $5 and bill it as parking fee".

Room was not clean at all was dead bugs on the wall sheets and covers had stains and it was piles of poop infront of the entry hotel door me and my family left the hotel after a hour we did not even stay

The stay was fine. The problem was that the air conditioner fan did not stay on during the night. It went on and off all night. Also, the air was set to 76 when we check in. It makes sense to conserve energy but the room smelt stale because it there was no air movement.

Usually Fairfield in hotels are very nice and clean, room was clean but hallway carpet looked dirty, still I recommend this hotel over others in the area.

Toilet could not be cleaned. Elevator was very small. Food not very good. No TV guide on TV, Only one waste basket

If he was in charge, I'm sure the place would have been better. The hallways were very dirty and needed a good carpet cleaning. The room was freezing at 60 degrees and still had trash from the prior occupant. We were upgraded after reporting that, but the new room did not have a usable curtain for the window and had a strange odor. We didn't complain about the curtain or the smell as we were exhausted and knew we would only be in the room for sleeping. We got used to the smell.

This was a nice stay although this is a dated facility. Carpet is worn, curtains were torn in places, & the patchwork on the walls were very noticeable.
The staff was nice, the place is clean, and the breakfast was good. Great location, close to shopping and dining.

My stay was confirmed through Travelocity, when I reached Hampton inn Decatur, they said my reservation has been cancelled without notifying what kind of service is this ???
I would like Travelocity to look into this matter

Was not a bad stay, but we did have a pet which online stated $50 fee but at the hotel we had to pay $100. No towels were in our room so we had to go to the front desk and ask for towels. The hotel hallways and elevator did not smell pleasant.
