We had an amazing weekend in Stockholm. Our stay at Lydmar was fabulous, the atmosphere and design was why we chose Lydmar. All the staff was super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was also very good both the included breakfast and dinner.

Stayed one night on our way back to the US. Recommended by the Hotel next door the Grand Hotel. Funky hotel, worth the money. People friendly at the front desk. Great location. Room big enough for two people. They let us have breakfast 20 minutes early due to our early flight. I would recommend.

Beautiful hotel.

The check-in area is extremely cramped and small. We arrived a little before check-in and had to lug our baggage up the stairs. A bellhop would be a nice touch at the entrance. The room was okay. We booked a medium king and it was just a normal room. It had nice large windows but we looked at another building and the water with some boats in the distance. The room t felt like there was no room to put our luggage or belongings. All the tables were extremely low and had decor on them. The bathroom was awkward in that it had a huge window the building next door could see in, or you had to pull the curtains which made it so the bathroom was very hot and didn't let the air from the windows in. The show/tub was also very high up and an awkward step out of, with nothing to grab on to except the glass partition that swung open and closed. The hotel itself was in a great location and very walkable. The staff was fine, nothing stood out from anyone. When we were leaving to go out for the day I asked if I could get a hair dryer to the room since I couldn't find it and the one staff member said I needed to look in the drawers outside the bathroom, under the minibar. As we were on the way out sometimes its just nice to be told no problem and then they could have set the dryer out. Not sure we would stay at this location again. I think there are better options for the price you pay.

Absolutely loved my stay here. I wouldn’t change a single thing other than getting a room with a view. Staff was amazing the style of the hotel was beautiful location was perfect

what a pity! We booked this hotel well in advance for a very special family anniversary. Already at the time of booking we asked that we be assigned the most beautiful room as possible with the best possible view. A few days earlier I remembered our request. The hotel staff always reassured us that they would do their utmost to accommodate our request. When you arrive at the hotel we are assigned a room in the attic on the fifth floor with very small windows, while the rest of the hotel has 4 other floors with huge windows. Faced with our amazement and disappointment, they offered us a small room with a view of the back as an alternative, saying that the hotel was now completely full and no changes were possible even in the following days (although check-in was on Thursday and the stay three nights!). I therefore find that the attention towards us and towards Expedia as well, through which we booked, was zero. It's really a shame. The hotel itself is not bad...unfortunately our room and especially the view with small windows placed high up where you had to climb onto a stool to see outside, terrible...I would have expected more from a 5 star hotel for more Small Luxury Hotel and from Expedia as well...

Beyond a beautiful hotel in an incredible location, honestly the top item which would bring me back was the staff. Every single person I encountered made me feel genuinely special. They were extremely helpful. Additional high points included the complimentary breakfast and well thought out room finishes. I typically do not take the time to write reviews, but my experience at this hotel was worth sharing.

Terrible customer service. Unhelpful staff. Offhand manager when we complained. Avoid...far better choices nearby.
