The hotel was great, great location, clean, and pretty affordable. I had an issue with check-in because I paid for two rooms under my card, and they had my co-worker under the reservation, so I am not sure whose fault it is. The front desk people were super nice, but they could not do anything since I paid through the website. I had to call Expedia, and they were super helpful and took care of things for me. Still, I feel like once the payment goes through, the hotel should be a bit more flexible because if I could have gotten my issue fixed, I would have had to wait for three hours for my co-worker to land and check in It's just a very odd system...Also ask them to validate your parking, you may get a few bucks off.

Great location. Felt safe. Lots of restaurants near by within walking distance. Check in process was quick. Friendly staff. Room was spacious. Comfortable bed. Enough storage space. Parking $30 a night. We’ll definitely stay here again.

The hotel is fine. Solid location is a nice part of LA. However, the sound proofing is pretty poor. You can hear trucks driving by, people walking down the hall, and housekeeping working on rooms next door at practically all times. And the A/C is an old school unit by the window the only works OK.

The property is convenient and comfortable. The staff and service is terrible. Upon check in, they informed me that my booked room of 2 queen beds was unavailable, but that they could put me in a 1 king bed room and switch me the next day. I agreed, as it was late and we didn’t have any other options. The next day I hadn’t heard about my room change so I called and I was told the hotel was completely sold out and we couldn’t be moved. At this time I called Hotels.com for their help. The manager was very rude and condescending, and didn’t once apologize for the inconvenience. She offered a room change, albeit at 10pm. I told her it was completely unfair to have to pay for a room but be given something else. And when I asked for a credit or refund she told me no, because I had accepted and stayed in the (incorrect) room the night before. With no other options as I was traveling with my family, we were forced to accept the incorrect rooming situation and terrible customer service. But at least they still give you the free cookie, right?

The place was dated - the lift made weird pinging noises and was old. The rooms were a bit dated and the furniture had been worn hard - the bedside table was damaged and peeling. It didn't give the feeling or 4 star usually considered with a Hilton property

We were placed in a room that did have running water. We called the front desk they sent up a repair man. After 20 minutes we asked the technician how much longer and he said he did not know. At that point, we called the front desk and explained the situation. The woman said we could continue to wait as the hotel was fully booked. Due to the sink being in the bathroom, we were also unable to use the toilet. We explained we needed to be moved. The woman had a slight attitude, we were put on hold and she finally said she could move us to a lower level. We accepted this and were placed in a room that did not have a closet the ironing board had hangers on it. The room was clean but had the feeling that it was a transitional spot. There was no follow-up nor offer of a complimentary anything. In today's world where customer service is key, this was very disappointing.

Loved the hotel, the facilities and location. I was apprehensive after reading many poor reviews but turned out better than expected. Front desk was a bit underwhelming, not much of a welcome just got the job done. When looking for a cab one evening I couldn't get one on from the QR code recommended and front desk said they couldn't (or wouldn't) help me at all in securing a cab. They said they had no other number. Not sure how much of a kick back the hotel is getting from the one they advertise. I found a way without their help.

This hotel seems much better in pictures but not that great in reality and also the service staff is quite rude. We stayed here for 6+ nights and the lady servicing breakfasts was quite rude consistently.

I stayed the night before my surgery. The bed was so soft and comfy I slept so good . The carpet throughout could use updating. It’s buckled and I almost tripped a few times. Other than that nice stay!

I was locked out of my room and forced to get three sets of keys and going up and down multiple times before they finally called an engineer. I just want to get back in my room and get out of here and never come back! Horrible experience. In addition, they did not apologize and at all.

This hotel only offers to clean your room if you request it which is absolutely insane. No one told us that upon check in and when we discovered at 11 am and requested that our room be cleaned we were told they were “maxed out for the day.” Ridiculous. Additionally, our door wouldn’t close and we had to keep banging it open and shut to finally close which I’m sure was a complete inconvenience for our neighbors.

We had to ask 3 times for bedding to be provided and it didn't arrive until 9:30pm and then didn't make the bed for us. No amenities in the bathroom (no cotton balls or hygiene bags or q-tips or shower caps or anything). Bottles of water in the room were $10 each. Staff were friendly, but that is about the best I can say.

That was our worst stay at a Hilton to date. The clientele next door to us were unruly, noisy and had no regard for the hotel. Hotel security came up but we didn’t feel it mattered. Issue with shower drain and a door frame kept falling off. The hotel carpet on floor 4th Fl was lifting so it felt old. Our room smelled like pot the entire stay and a comforter was in appalling shape. Awful.

Cockroachs in the bedroom 4 of them. I was moved rooms. I've never had that happen anywhere. The rate was so expensive and the hotel was full of pests. I had a rash all over my back and legs. I would not stay here. The staff were wonderful anout it.

Room size was good and comfortable. Location a little too far away from beach for our liking. Domestic staff and desk were very helpful and friendly. Bar service was slow and understaffed. We waited 20 minutes one evening before giving up on being served.
