The surroundings of the hotel are splendid. The hotel has all that is needed for a perfect stay with an excellent ( although somewhat pricy) restaurant and a very good breakfast. There was a bottle of warm water on the table at 5 euro but an empty fridge. In the bathroom there was only soap and shampoo, fixed to the wall. In the closet was a list of everything in the room, probably so you could check that everything was there. However, it conveyed you the feeling that the hotel knew, what was there so you should not try to steal. The room had what was absolutely necessary but nothing extra. The really negative thing, however happened when we went to the restaurant for dinner. We had reserved a table and came across the park to the nearest part of the restaurant, next to where our table was situated. In front of us was a german couple who were trying to enter the restaurant, but they were stopped rudely by the maitre d'hotel. He told them that they had to go around the hotel and use the other entrance through the reception. The german lady tried to argue that the entrance from where they stood was only about 12 meters through the restaurant. The maitre d' got angry and started shaking his head at her. They left, furious. My wife hadn't noticed what happened and tried to enter but was stopped equally rudely. She did not get, what he meant so she got shooked at as well. An absolutely unacceptable behavior!!! There is no excuse for shaking you head at guests!!!

This was a gem off the beaten track. We highly recommend this hotel if you need a few days away from the busy life. Very serene. Interesting history and very good breakfast. Sad we couldn’t stay longer. Not much English spoken.

I had a good night sleep. The room was clean and I had a nice view from the balcony. Breakfast-bag (because of covid-19) was Ok, but nothing really special. The pool was closed.

The hotel is in a beautiful setting next to a lake. The staff was friendly but not very good at English. No A/C in the room. Charging for parking when it is in the middle of the forest is a bit strange.

Thanks to a friendly night reseptionist, I was able to sleep! My first room was a sauna, and no window, but a door straight out on the street. In additional, I was disturbed by a pool robot. Bad Wifi, and its rude to charge for Parking on the country-side! But very friendly staff! Great breakfast, and clean. Pretty surroundings.

10 minutes driving distance to Schwerin. Nature environment and friendly staff. The kid like the hotel very much.

We just stayed there one night as we were looking for an hotel close to the airport to take an early flight in the morning. The hotel is clean, the bed were comfortables and the staff friendly but it is nothing fancy.

Surprised when you are staying in a country location at a Motel (Motor Hotel) that they charge you for parking. Fully understood in a built up city area but not here.

We were on the second floor and the heat was probably coming from the wellness / sauna that was place in the underground. The staff claimed that they turned it off during the night though temperatures did not decrease during the night. The receptionist promised to bring ventilator but it did not eventually happened. It was rather unpleasant experience and for our two small children not very healthy conditions.

Our room was directly above the lobby. We could smell the food from the kitchen and hear the lobby music until around 11pm.
