Had to deal with 3 messed up rooms before getting one right . Broken TVs in two rooms and incorrect bedding in another

Very bad experience at the Baymont in Springfield. Flickering Light in hallway outside my room, no tissues, ugly exposed cables and wires to TV, curtains couldn't' be closed, curtains when brought into the middle completely draped in front of the air conditioner, vanity sink had no plug and sewer smell was there when running water, shower curtain left 6 inch gap from wall resulting in water on the floor, TV remote would not turn on/off TV. No lights on sign at entrance from street. More to add, but tired of complaining.

The overall experience was good, finding the turn to get to hotel was a chore since it looks like you turn into dollar general parking lot.
The over all room itself was small for a king size handicap room. It was tight maneuvering a wheelchair and other luggage. The bathroom was the area that needed some extra attention, there was a bug and what looked like a leak coming through over the shower ceiling and had some mild mold on tile wall up near ceiling. To be fair there was also a huge leak in the hallway right outside the room so much so they had a bucket and signs saying wet floor so the leak I believe traveled to the room. Other than that it was an ok experience.

Would gine two stars, wasn't exactly the best hotel, air-conditioning barely worked. No breakfast options and the hotel looks run down, what made me decide to give it a 1 star, was when i went and got a show and a roach crawled out the faucet, i highly recommend no one to ever stay in this hotel, pay the 10 $ more for something better

How this place can pass inspection is beyond me. I was in room 201 and as soon as I walked into the bathroom there was bugs and hair on the floor. The mattress had a massive stain at the end of the bed and the tv is non functional. And the breakfast is honestly the most questionable part. Stay away. Not worth saving the money.

Too much to write about. This place is disgusting and filthy and in disrepair. One would have to see it in person to appreciate the poor state that it is in.

The ceiling had been leaking in the middle of the floor, there was a trash can catching the water which had a very foul order...very nasty

Room was dirty when we checked in...hair and a dirty wash cloth in the shower, and hair ties in the floor by the ac unit. TV did not work.

Asked to see the room because of my initial impression of the property. The hotel carpeting everywhere was very dirty and worn, trash was spilling out of receptacle at the front entrance, no one was initially at the front desk for several minutes, and the pool was closed. The room smelled and the light switch was on a timer? and didn't look safe. The pictures are completely deceiving. I did not stay here and had to find a cleaner, more acceptable hotel elsewhere. Sign posted said it was under new management, but the entire hotel needs to be closed and renovated.

The outside had dirty mattresses and beer bottles all around the dumpster. I don't think it had been mowed once all summer. The inside smelled like garbage and weed, the elevator didn't work so we climbed 3 flights of stairs to get to our room. The rooms were outdated, with uncomfortable beds and bathrooms that hadn't had a deep clean in a very long time. There were dark hairs around the base of the toilet and inside the shower. We couldn't wait to get out of there the next morning.

This was what you'd expect for the price. Had a decent shower and a comfortable bed for the evening. No complaints. Definitely some improvements happening for the future.

The bathroom did not have wash cloths and when I asked for some at the front desk she walked away and I waited for awhile and gave up. I came by later and there was one wash cloth sitting on the check in counter, which I doubt was sanitized recently. Overall I would only recommend staying here if you need a bed and bathroom with no frills. Very disappointing.
