Amazingly clean and the staff were all great. The entire place was well designed, aesthetically. The river on the backside of the Steelhead building was very cozy.

We’ve always loved our visits here at the River House… but not this time !
When we arrived, our room was not ready… so we went and get coffee, then they texted us our room was ready after our long travels. We took everything up to the room, which was it the room we booked. We had booked way in advance for a king bed and they gave us two queens. Once we got in the room, I tried to call the office. The phone in the room did not work. They assured me if I waited for a while they could get me my king bed unfortunately we had a family function to go to, so I accepted the room with two queen beds. The next morning, we got up and used the coffee machine in the room to make coffee and it dripped all over the counter and all over my paperwork.
Needless to say stay was less than perfect!

I had heard good things about the property. It was older & not as nice as I thought. It really felt like a retreat center that you’d go to for a church event. Things are very spread out. The buildings are almost like an older apartment building. Furniture was older too. I didn’t want to walk around on the carpet because it didn’t seem clean. Definitely don’t feel what we paid for the night was worth it.

We were upgraded to a suite as it was the last night of our honeymoon. Everyone was very friendly and professional. The restaurant food was delicious. Great experience overall.

The room is like brand new. The bed is very comfortable and everything is clean. Our room is overlooking the river and the restaurant. The beautiful, lit bridge takes you to the restaurant, just a walk away over the river. Highly recommend.

Checking I asked for a quiet room as we are celebrating our Anniversary. The room was perfect at first. We noticed there was 2 lights on the balcony that didn’t work. I called down to the office asking for help. Had to leave a message. Never heard back from them. The next morning my husband walked over asking again and they said they would send some one over. Left for the day, came back still no lights so once again we couldn’t sit outside. Now, we have a neighbor in the adjoining room with a dog left unattended that was barking and whining extremely loud. Called again, no answer. Left another message. Messaged the hotel on this app and received a phone call back saying they would send someone to fix the light and find who owns the dog. The light was fixed an hour later and the dog never stopped. The maintenance guy could hear it in the hallway. Went to bed at 10 and it still had not stopped. So much for a quiet romantic night. Very dissatisfied with our stay and a waste of a trip.

Lovely location right on the river with easy driving access to downtown and other areas of Bend. Room was clean and very large, but they’re having issues with cigarette smokers in the rooms - the hallways smelled terrible!

We were put in a room where construction was going on below and Nextdoor we had to listen to hammering and drilling all day long. Since we had already unpack and had put all of our clothes away we really didn’t want to move. We were told no reduction in price because we booked with Expedia ?????
