Breakfast on the first day was amazing! Day 2…not so much! There was hardly anything left with 1 hour left of breakfast! No sausage, eggs, pastries, etc!

Definitely in need of updating, but for the price it was a nice place.

The hotel was conveniently located but understaffed. The complimentary breakfast was adequate. We stayed 3 nights and our room was never serviced by housekeeping, so we had to pick up fresh towels from the front desk. For the price we paid, this was inexcusable.

Checked in at 4, only one room (of 2) was ready. Front desk agent was able to get us a room though, but it took checking in longer than it needed to be. First room had no A/C (it was near 90 out) and smelled of stale cigarette smoke. Was able to get a new room, fortunately. Property is in okay condition, and seemed clean, but there was an odd odor throughout, I couldn’t put my finger on it. If your room is an adjoining one: you will hear your neighbors pretty clearly. In my case, it was a screaming toddler from about 9-1130pm. This isn’t the hotels fault: but its price point attracts groups, and this weekend it was about 100 screaming preteen girls in town for a soccer tournament. For a quick stay, it gets the job done.

We came to Traverse City to spend time with our son and so we booked a 2 queen bed room. When we checked in, they had "upgraded" us to a King size room. We needed 2 beds and so our son had to go back to his apartment that night instead of stay with us. Very disappointing.

Hotel hall smelled like stale cigarettes. Hotel room door was previously broken in to, as the door itself had been jimmied, missing wood on door. Upon entering the room, the room smelled of strong stale cigarette smoke. Faucet to sink was broken and bathroom was not clean. Water line in toilet. Disappointing as I have previously stayed several times at this property. However, staff were professional and friendly.

Mildew stains on curtains, soiled window curtains. White paint left on trim, paint splatter in bathroom door, dirt left from grout left in corners. Not worth price charged for room!

The hotel was ok. It needs a lot improvement to be classified as a Wyndham as well as to justify the cost. I did not like walking into the room to the sink at the door. The room was fine, but average. Only 2 outlets. The bed was not comfortable because the mattress was tilted. I felt like I was on a hill about to roll off all night. The tile was coming off the wall in the bathroom and the ceiling was not well patched from a previous leak. We could hear people walking above all the time. The breakfast was minimal and not very good - it should not be promoted as a great hot breakfast.

Nice hotel and reasonable price for Traverse City. Excellent bed, comfortable stay. Pretty good breakfast with many choices. Would stay here again.
